frotee releases a 24-track compilation featuring grünberg s work for 10 animated films and 1 puppet-play, all music is previously unreleased on any physical format. therefore, the release of -anima 1977-2001- can be considered as a notable contribution to the acclaimed soundtrack composer s discography that hopefully cheers up the audiences who have been waiting for this issue to be released. regardless of the fact that he still continues writing and recording music for films, the latest recording, that was included to this compilation, was made in year 2001.

raum musik 100 is coming from edgardo alonso better known as sakro. he is hailing from mexico and we have been following his work for quite some time now. therefor we are quite happy that we finally found the perfect match of tracks to put this single together. the title track of the ep „no time to explain“ already attracted a lot of attention during the summer when a handful of djs that were lucky enough to already have it, have been dropping the tune on some bigger stages and festivals and it quickly became a sought after track. we are very happy about our 100th release and as always we hope you enjoy the music as much as we do. cheers and happy birthday raum !

the electronic based pop group, shari vari, founded by helena ratka and sophia kennedy, is about to release its first ep, life should be a holiday, of 5 pieces produced and recorded by the duo under broke and alcoholic circumstances. each piece deals with the traditional forms of song writing by ignoring them – the rules and structures. combining psychedelic lyrics and chords with dark electronic sounds, the beats are weird and stubborn: a teenage crush on a white cat while drowning in a pool. you’ll never want to go to work again: too many psychos in one streetcar are just too hard to handle on an empty stomach. look forward to plunge into the world of shari vari, so hit the booze and run! repress! when three people run a label together it is exceptionally rare to find a positive unified opinion of a record on first listen. when isolée sent his -mangroove- ep to maeve, this was in fact what happened. but it is isolée after all.... mangroove came about last summer when the drifter happened to catch isolée s live set at a festival in switzerland. instantly blown away by the a side -pisco- he was determined to find out what it was and if it was to be released. after chatting, isolée suggested that he would send -pisco- along with a couple of other -demos- to maeve and a few days later the ep was happening. isolée has created some of the most important and beautiful records of our generation and has being a huge influence on what we do, thus we are incredibly excited and humbled to release his work. this three track ep shows several different sides of the frankfurt native, from the a-side dance floor catalyst that is -pisco- to the deeper dubbier b-sides of -l5 syndrome- and -mangrove-. this is the perfect record to mark our tenth release.
