The combined efforts of Frederic Berger and Patrick Buck under the name Kaiserdisco deliver no less than their best on this collaboration with a lifer if there ever was one: Fabio Neural, who brings a love he has held since the age of 13 to the collaborative efforts showcased here. Having earned respect with appearances on record labels like Drumcode, and gracing clubs like Soundgarden and festivals across Europe, one hopes this is far from the last listeners will get from this truly outstanding partnership.
"Stay With Me" - Like a heart as big as a stadium, the title track thumps a colossal rhythm around the listener, reeling them up a mountainous intro with a generous helping of high hats and echoing bass effects. No one is going to be able to stand still with this beast on the loose, charging through hips and hearts alike with an unbelievable energy that is not going to leave memories anytime soon.
"Rush" - A hurricane of drums and maracas lashes out with a vengeance without any foreplay whatsoever, but there is simply too much joy at work here for there to be anything but a party following this monster of a hit. If the music is going to rock this hard there is no need to hold back, and the artists seem to be unable to do so as they unleash a storm over the audience, keeping spirits high as can be up to the outro.[info from tv]
