nicolas reinbold and david lamant, have been studying and playing electro music for many years, but in 2009, they decided to link their musical knowledge and background to create a new musical project, called the outsiders. in order to make their project alive, they also created a label called elektro korp records. to date, they have made a vinyl call evaporate e.p. that feature two tracks from them and a remix from perc (c.l.r., drumcode, perc trax) they have pressed those tracks in limited edition (500 marbled vinyls).

what an absolute stormer, for those of you who have never heard this record, get ready to be blown away. initially out in 1992 inner citys pennies from heaven was just the most perfect house anthem, i think it was kevins tunnel mix which was the killer mix, here it has been strung out just a little by the slow to speak people. all the crucial elements are still there, amazing vocal, the most uplifting of pianos, ridiculously simple yet deadly bassline and fantastic crisp garage beats. really they dont get much better than this, watch em go on nye when you drop this. awesome!

one of the master teachers of the norwegian house and disco rune lindbaek - who put oslo on the house map as part of the those norwegians ( paper music ) - joins forces with younger disciple kare frisvold for a potent, accoustic hallucinogenic called >bozak brewed with the shared knowledge of mad sounds scientist like walter gibbons and lee scratch perry: a constantly building electrical storm of strange psychedelic synth noises pierced by flutters of rico rodriguez style trombone solo, liquid guitar scales and kraftwerk like melodic fragments all held together by a forcefull drum beat. the quirky >spok & spenning< on the flip is another beautifully strange mixture of cinematic melodies, like sweated out by a drunken ennio morricone, over an easy skanking beat and comes additionally in a stripped down bonus beat plus spacey sounds version by prins thomas. take a trip to your mind!

hypnotize to mesmerize. thatÆs always been mark eÆs thing. enjoying a sterling reputation as an editor as well as establishing his own label merc with a string of well made 12inches and two dope compilations, the man from birmingham complements our little label again with some original productions. starting with out with nobody else, mark puts love on top of love. unfortunately for you - and good for us - you have to fetch a second copy to go back and forth with the weighty bonus beats. flip side: the wolf is a murky trip into classic cavernous house music with a bottom-heavy ruffneck sound and an attention drawing siren. that alarm bell is also included in a minute-long extra fx section and for those that cannot get enough, seeks and ye shall find a locked-groove. people who like to carry their record collection around on a hard-drive, will also be pleased to know that there is an additional track to be found on the digital release (no locked grooves there, were afraid). its a contemplative force called stoneleigh express. e is for earthquake!
