henry wu (aka kamaal williams of yussef kamaal) returns to eglo records following on from his joint ep with k15. deep in the mudd is a heavy weight 6 track ep which journeys through broken beat, house, hip hop and jazz. the previously released negotiate ft. simeon jones, which originally came out on eglo sister label hotep, gets a 2017 remix courtesy of the legendary kaidi tatham and uk funky og hardhouse banton joins wu on title track deep in the mudd and century. essential business, no messing about!

shuanise odunaiya is the latest artist to join the ranks of eglo records (floating points, alexander nut). dallas born but raised in north london, the lady is something of an enigma. she was introduced to playing percussion at an early age. around the same time she started to use her voice as a way of expression. from freestyling with the local hoodrats to weekly jams on the grand piano with the old guy up the road, shuanise started to make sense of it all. >i liked the way it built itself up, my music is a fusion of everything i love: synth sounds, heavy bass, high frequencies, african choirs, crackling vinyl & talking drums<. her music is a spellbinding combination of soul, hip hop, gospel and spiritual jazz. shes a true uk star with bright future. much like floating points first 7inch on eglo this brand new 3 track 7 inch release is just an introduction
