what a year 2014 was for us as a label. starting with the release of my lifer concluded ep, featuring incredible producers addison groove, fur coat, livio & roby and maetrik. later in the year we went on to release one of the most explorable and rewarding projects we have been involved in as a label wolfgang haffner the remixes. a 6 track ep with some of the biggest names in electronic music, ricardo villalobos, nightmares on wax, acid mondays, max loderbauer and myself. with the success of the remixes we knew we would have to release another strong ep to follow. myself and rockets & ponies are proud to bring you our ?rst release of 2015: acid mondays, chi ka pasa .

with its hq in rural germany - rockets & ponies is a coterie for the outsiders - those too strange for the normal business with an ethos that fosters freedom of expression, experimentation and an avant-garde approach. so who better to present a remix package of works by jazz luminary wolfgang haffner that includes ricardo villalobos & max loderbauer, nightmares on wax, and label padrone timo maas.
following up on a stellar 2013, timo maas kick starts the new year with the final vinyl remix sampler taken from his album, lifer. this is his latest offering since tantra ep which was received with rave reviews and featured across rolling stone, xlr8r, clash, as well as played by some of the finest djs on the circuit from seth troxler, maceo plex through to luciano and danny tenaglia.
midway through 2013 and multi-faceted brainchild of timo mass and santos, rockets and ponies, rides high with its latest signing, katie cruel. a refreshingly poetic entree for this eclectic label, cruel s city city ep embodies the timeless, classic & intelligent music ethos that mass and santos are so keen to champion.
timo maass double a-sided single >kick1 kick3 / johnny cash< comes with mixes from maetrik aka maceo plex, for his pristine vision of house music from beyond, and southampton based techno craftsman and drumcode regular, alan fitzpatrick.
own meets the 60s with the naughties. its throbbing drum rhythm and soul-laced vocal make this a certain smash for those hot, heavy and sweaty nights. finally the much shought after remix of riva starr is available on a ltd produced stamped vinyl
in true santos style >sinus disco< will mess with your head. santos has conjured a true summer anthem. >matinee< does exactly what it says on the tin : the track is the soundtrack to ibiza sunrises ... >sinus disco< is played out loud by joris voorn!
mutant clan are hitting back with a filthy, grinding track with immense dancefloor potential entitled totally wet. steadily mouting to an almost frenzied climax, totally wets loops and spins will have you writhing in electro pleasure. the second track, talking deep, starts and ends with steady samba beats but everything in between is a delightfully disturbing chaos which will make ears prick up all over the world: overlain with space-age twangs and deformed, incomprehensible warped voices, this penetrating track rises to a slow and steady collision of unsettling sounds before reverting to clear-cut minimal sounds just before fade out. in true mutant clan style, talking deep is far from ordinary.
number 1 at gregor tresher april 2010 top 10 chart ... really hot . an incredible debut release for timo and santos label and perfect example of genius to come... rock on! smashed by kiki, jesse rose, &me, mihalis safras, stephan bodzin ...
fatboy slim and dj shadow collaborator lateef / the maroons, and us house legend gerideau all make vocal appearances on santos fourth album, if you have meat you want fish. the record will be santos first album on timo maas and his own rockets & ponies.
