gerard hanson hails from the unlikely environments of dallas, texas usa. his music has influences from derrick may, stefan robbers, red planet and carl craig.. he released his first 12inch in 1995 on matrix / detroit. after that he released on labels like tektite recordings, down low, ai records, frustrated funk, frantic flowers and aw recordings. he is very careful about sharing his music with the rest of the world. in the last decade he only used the aliases convextion and e.r.p. (event related potential). e.r.p is an electro-edged moniker....

the a-side of the second release of the versus-series is from andresandreas. a project from two spanish guys called andres gomez + andreas lundman. these dj s and producers belong to the mythic raver collective laeskuadronsonora from barcelona. after many years deejeing, producing and organizing parties, the collective founded kny rec and ost rec, actually with two references out on kny and three on the ost label, but with lot of good material to come. the second release was chosen as official anthem for the monegros desert festival 12 for the advertisements on tv and radio. their track >707< (name based on playtime and the legendary roland drummachine) really fits to the hardfloor sound: acid bass lines, constantly up building, and with a hard and pumping kick, hypnotizing, but floor filling. the new old school sound, updated as never before. it sounds like a new classic
