the two label runners combine forces for the deeply old skool ep. saiyan and luna-c bring the simple joy of the old rave sound to their ep, with two tracks cut in the style of the early breakbeat scene of 1992, and one track that stems from a little later, when things got more 4x4 and slightly tougher. all the tracks on the ep are made with a majority of hardware rather than the standard software of today, and the result is a warm, analogue, and absolutely true to its era ep of rolling breaks, deep basslines and uplifting vibes!

camea&#700,,,,s latest release on her imprint neverwhere pays homage to her hometown seattle&#700,,,,s original underground rave warehouse, naf studios, where she went dancing in the late 90s and began her journey that ultimately landed her in berlin. also where nirvanna&#700,,,,s “smells like teen spirit” video was filmed (and ironically now a catholic publishing house), the hedonistic venue is legendary to those who picked up rave flyers scattered on the streets of seattle and took a chance on an emerging new electronic music scene. both originals reflect the raw warehouse vibe of this era, and matrixxman and markus suckut have weighed in with heavy remixes. markus puts his signature on the naf 97 original with a deep space atmospheric techno banger, and matrixxman reworks the original 303 recordings in jack u, sending it into another dimension - and even further.

in 2013 casey tucker was thrust into the limelight after 15 years in the shadows. never truly getting the recognition for is detroit influenced and post rave sound in the 90s, for those that knoe reissued some of caseys classic material and unearthed some gems on dat in 2013. fast forward to the current day and a recent treasure trove was uncovered and some fresh dats untouched since the late 90s were discovered! ben promptly bought a dat player on ebay and shipped it to casey s home for the un-dusting to commence. fttk has worked with casey to present another round of authentic material for this final installment (maybe) of his classic productions

those who preordered, do not have to do so again - we will contact you when we have stock! recorded in the autumn of 2017 at their studio in vancouvers deep blue, mvx / u41a is the first new music from minimal violence to be released on ninja tunes technicolor imprint and the first to be recorded outside their usual home production space. the result is a record that intends to reduce pop music to its emotive qualities and apply that abstract nostalgia back into dance tracks. their penchant for the heavier and more aggressive side of dance music is most evident in its infiltration of the duo’s often raw and disorientating live set. formed in 2015 the duo, consisting of ashlee luk and lida p, have a string of releases to date with labels such as lobster theremin, 1080p and jungle gym records. drawing on luks years of experience playing in punk bands, they combine hardware sequencers, drum machines and synths, to weave together acid tinged compositions that derive inspiration from early electronic and minimal synth through to heavier uk rave and hardcore.

field of dreams are field theorys chris kentish and dj al mackenzie. field theory have recently had tracks on respected labels such as futureboogie and secret life gaining rave reviews and even garnering plays on bbc radio 6 music. al has been a dj since the late 80s, now resident at birminghams great outdoors. he s made numerous records over the years but will probably be remembered primarily for his 90s band d:ream making number one all over the world and remixing for emf and duran duran amongst others. bumping into each other in the street one dayand realising they lived opposite each other, they seized upon the chance to combine their favourite passions, making music and drinking.

20/20 vision welcome nathan jonson to the label to deliver some of his esteemed beats - he was previously known as hrdvision, and as a member of midnight operator alongside his infamous brother mathew. it is in fact mj who gets the run of the a side with a bouncing, bubbly remix of -business- that calls to mind some of the most wriggly threads in that unmistakable jonson sound. -let your body- strikes a different tone on the b-side, conjuring up some rave ghosts and decanting them into a thoroughly modern club burner heavy on the dramatic arrangement and sure to create wild responses on the dancefloor. -business- in its original form is a loose and funky-as-hell electro jam with live, glutinous monosynth flex and detroit-tinted pads to die for.

omplimenting the long-awaited release of sophomore lp, song for alpha, daniel avery presents the projector ep. taking its title from one of the album’s spectral highlights this additional trio of original productions expands on avery’s regenerated sonic vision. leaning further towards the rhythmic and propulsive intent behind his recent, marathon dj sets, the record serves to delve further still into his unfolding, ever-deepening sound. following the lead of ‘projector’ itself, the record transitions into the first exclusive cut, ‘shadow mountain’. soft in texture and bathed in ethereal feedback, a glitching, transfixing synth line gradually reveals itself as the spine of the piece. throughout ‘glass’, an intimate, breathy vocal sample contrasts with a more industrially tinged base of heavily processed drums. influenced by song for alpha’s embrace of the small hours, “the light emerging from the darkness”, both tracks conjure an almost overwhelmingly tender atmosphere, rich in the hazy strains of rave history. on the more experimental rehbgbv4367, the seams of avery’s influences lap against one another in a steady crescendo of beautiful yet beatless noise, dissipating into ambience. expanding on the delicate core ideas at the centre of his creative ethos, the ep invites listeners on a further excursion of transient, psychedelic bliss.

betonkust has been spotted lurking in the realm of seedy late night body music alongside artists such as palmbomen ii, landing his noirish wares on 1080p, pinkman and most notably dekmantel. now he makes the logical leap to crimes of the future alongside equally accomplished belgian producer innershades, previously spotted on wicked bass, creme organization, hot haus and many more besides. the sound on forever in boccaccio is totally fitting for crimes of the future, all muscular drum machines beats and analogue synth lines angled to send a shiver down your spine. watch out for the unexpected rave hit of -jambers at carat afterclub- which comes on strong with some fist-shaking peak time euro techno motifs.

you re invited once again to the iav vaults, where the measured density of instant classics is getting higher and higher as we dig. this time around, you re up for three techno steamrollers, infused with both club and rave dna, from distant times ranging between 1989 and 2000. while those tracks will let you connect with your utmost dancefloor and rave self, one should keep in mind laurent prot is not your average club punter. set aside his more recent club live pas, laurent has hardly even been to clubs or raves altogether. funny enough, the dancefloor is not his favorite place to be, but hes been cultivating this special techno fantasy-land from his own studio in the lyon suburbs. his own little private funky town.
