back in 1955 an unidentified flying object was spotted by a couple of farm workers nearby llangollen s castel dinas bran (crow castle). a young man named dewi llandlenip had taken some astonishing photographs of what appears to be a ufo hovering above the ancient medieval site. he was sure, this was the presence of the time travellers. crow castle has always had a mysterious presence, but this took them by surprise, a kind of close encouter type iii. shortly after this bizarre moment they were all left stunned and knocked to the ground, the object had gone without trace and their memory obscured into a so called abduction reset.

midgar is finally reaching the 10th release with mdg008, a rich ensemble of live jams, adapted to the vinyl format by ambient specialist shaded explorer. the record opens with the bleeping saucer emerald weapon, activating hyperspace mode as the sidereal ambiances take over in the middle of the track. skyward follows up with thunderous kicks, adding consistency to the groove but keeping focus on windy atmospheres. the slow-builder shaded gems reset the pace on the b-side, where the italian artist fully express the solemnity of the machines. underwood ends the record with natural textures: a sonic representation of mother nature waking up the forests using bright pads and perpetual chirping.

chord memory! the hymn for the widely used feature in 80s hardware synthesizers got some individual rewiring done. if ten fingers ain’t enough hyboid uses his galactic memory for punchy disco purposes while robyrt hecht reaches for a swinging pivot memory to sweep and swipe your electro habits. on the other hand milium likes the exposed wires of his mutiny memory to revolt whereas cco simulates his natural echoic memory with floating acid sparks. completing the mechanical rewiring the duo nachtzug added delicate software to execute the algorithms and installed a memory loss button, if you are in need of a reset.
