the focus energy / motive order twelve inch takes seamss lush electronica in a new direction. having captured the essence of the berlin summertime with the tourist ep, seams returns with and altogether more dancefloor orientated release. driven by a desire to make audiences at his live shows dance, a much more propulsive sound manifests itself across the two tracks, both built from the same ingredients but taking them in two very different directions. focus energys minimal percussion and vocal stabs pushes seamss sound further towards the techno production hinted at in hung markets, whereas motive order rearranges focus energys parts into a much more dense wall of sound, filled with arpeggios and noise, evoking the sound of the border community fold.

for the second release on his own hardrive imprint, terror danjah is joined by joker and nottingham bassline don illmana. a-side >gully goon estate< happened via the power of the internet, td and joker had long spoken about working together, and danjah eventually initiated the collaboration when he sent the jkr the audio stems to his classic >zumpi hunter< riddim. joker reciprocated with the parts for >gully brook lane<, and after much back-and-forth between the two instrumental grime heavyweights, the >gully goon estate< was blueprinted.

earlier this year they got together at martins studio in derby to create this classic deep house number. the parts were then taken to their respective studios to create their own versions. freds mix has a more straight forward vibe to it while martin takes things to the deep end, adding dub elements to the mix.
