the still sound remix 12 inch sees one of the stand out tracks from toro y mois critically acclaimed sophomore album get a reworking from the electronic mastermind that is toby tobias. on the flip side we hear work from a new name, voodoo bear aka khaled bourguig, a french graphic design student who started making music 6 years ago. initially inspired by hip hop, khaleds voodoo bear project blurs the line between electronic and organic music.

>dysfunction<, hannulelauris first ep on i m a cliche goes beyond the dreamy, cosmic atmosphere of their previous releases and remixes on other eurodisco labels. the duos new sound still sends us floating but with an edgier, more toxic ride. hannu and lauri aka hannulelauri created a track for i m a cliche, a remix of botoxs hit >blue steel<. this track inspired the label to make more room for the finnish duo and bring their new music into its discography.

the second instalment of the aprÚs vinyl series sees australian producer touch sensitive (also a member of van she) kicking things off with >body stop<, an italo disco stomper thats been at home in the fc catalogue for quite some time. recently unearthed by london based producer toby tobias in a chart of >hidden gems< it seemed only natural to ask toby to remix body stop and the result sees toby putting more space in the track, pushing it further onto the dancefloor and keeping it playful all at once. on the flip we take the uk connection a little further with leeds based producer bonar bradberry floating into cosmic territory with >fought & won< whilst toby tobias turns in some glorious tour-bus-disco on >azul blue<, guitars and acid lines sitting comfortably side by side for the ride.

hailing from vancouver toby emerson has had tracks out on labels such as system recordings, bugeyed, and monster tunes. tobys music usually does not stick to a specific genre and brings in elements from electro, house, trance, and rock music. djs such as paul van dyk and judge jules have been known to support his music. here we have a straight up club monster with remixes from filthy rich & 2 bit adding to the package nicely.
