ryuji takeuchi provides instruments of discipline with an ep of noisy, hypnotic tracks, ranging from giddy, stomping, left-field techno to melancholic ambience, the ep’s title ‘one’s sentiment’ provides a thoughtful angle to this at times cacophonous collection, for while they are bristling with noise there is something contemplative about the pieces, expressed in a way that suggests more than one thought trying to take life at the same moment, ryuji finds space for conflicting voices both spatially and in terms of mood, the first three tracks, ‘ambivalence’, ‘sadness’ & ‘sorrow’ crawl with competing elements, synth lines drool over and meld with throbbing kick patterns, anxiety & excitement are tightly wound in focus as tracks build and develop, leaving the listener to navigate these abstract planes, intoxicated, while the final track ‘regret’ is a compelling piece of noisy, ambient minimalism that allows for an austere pause after the eruption of the initial works. it becomes evident that ryuji’s journey as a producer, through periods of hard-techno, deep-minimalism and the more abrasive ventures on huehelix, has created a powerful and nuanced voice that is fully on display in ‘one’s sentiment’.

masaki messaged blueberry records soundcloud and signed an ep within a week. i guess sending demos is still a thing. the concept of the ep is to demonstrate all the colors in masaki s rainbow. a truly gifted studio engineer, there are many styles in which he moves across the mixing board. ark and blessing are pure sound design ticklers. as if he decided to make an updated blue-ray instructional soundtrack. soaring melodies and sub bass anchors the listener is literally pinned done by the pressure and beaten with an ugly beauty unique to masakis style. dolci and ilah both radiate on the dance floor like lost dark rollers from an updated mid 90 s estelia and fraewnuil demonstrate the beautiful thoughtfulness masaki also possesses. like a hidden runout groove, masaki leaves the listener pensive and wrapped in a warm embrace.

welcome to the long awaited 5th vinyl output of huehelix. this time, we focus on ryuji takeuchi, who brings 4 versatile factors to complete the renaissance artistique ep. factor a is no doubt the most straight techno style banger, which ryuji himself has been dropping in a peaktime of his every set at gigs in berlin, rotterdam, osaka and more, that always takes audience to another place. factor b shows a strong influence from ebm, noise, industrial music, which can be a starter of a set, with mad and strong break before its peaktime. factor c is for sure the strongest and hardest track in this ep, with high bpm with crazy acid synth melody. factor d closes the ep with percussive and synthy aspects. this ep really indicates how ryuji has evolved for his entire career and where he’s heading to. definitely the one not to miss. please keep your eyes and ears open, huehelix never stops.

asymmetrical code is the evolution of what is known as techno today. the -code- or song, takes you on a journey to the future of the past where you can find an alternate you through contemporary realities and soundwaves.
starting in 2013 as an underground label with no public releases, the main goal of fragmento & tracy (owners) was to find and collect the perfect sound, ambients, and grooves to carry you to the musical meaning of asymmetrical code. on this journey the listener is also accompanied by visual stimulants created by the label, to influence or facilitate the mind to wander and build a new creativity within you.
in this opportunity we have the pleasure to introduce in the a.c.r.002.v. artists such as endlec - fragmento - ryuji takeuchi - tracy & mtd. stay tuned for the a.c.r. 003 .v.

these songs were made over the past 2 and a half years by uchi: luna (january 2016), was named after a talking cat. it s kind of a sad story. you will find some synth sounds, three different kick drums, and a couple hi-hats. it s kind of moody. you can take it as it is, or not. pride is poison (july 2014) ironically, it s titled after experiencing dosages of unhealthy relationships, though it might be the one people like the most. it s sad-ish, noisy, bouncie, and bassie? that about sums it up. inc (february 2016) is titled after the international noise conference, where it was recorded. actually it s a 3 part spliced zoom room recording of a 25min long improvisation, made in a punk bar. the argument here holds, is it really worth it to make perfect music? where is the concept of -live- in techno anyways? it doesn t matter. it s just a semi-distorted recording of a moment that meant nothing to almost no one, and yet it lives.

muchias is a collaborative project from normals welcome co-founder nik kozub (the paronomasiac / shout out out out out) and modular synth artist borys (who has toured extensively supporting junior boys, and whose collaborations with junior boys’ jeremy greenspan have seen release on the jiaolong and hyperdub labels). brooding modular techno, acid, and a hint of new beat influence are all represented on this compelling 4 tracker.

the scattered ep is not for the faint-hearted, serious underground techno beats on it.

nao katafuchi is a new york based japanese artist. living in lower manhattan for more that 20 years, nao has made an internationally interesting mini album lost somewhere between the future and the past. all of the music was made using a semi modern groovebox, guitar, and voice. this musical combination created a new wave cyberpop atmosphere that would not be out of place in a bar in liquid sky, blade runner, or total recall. trashy japanese retro-future pop out of new york city!

oh my god! this is another impressive release on the fast growing analogmode label. a.paul is on a roll with his string of releases in 2009 on labels like planet rhythm, kombination research and naked lunch to name only a few. this time he collaberates with one of the biggest in the industry: the advent! this tune is just what to except from these guys. straight froward pumping techno! the second track is by japanese techno warrior riuji takeuchi followed up on the flip by sinisa tamamovic taking it deep. last but not least a switch in styles to the dancefloor magnet tadox. all in all a great diverse techno ep which you just cant afford to miss!
