end of level boss is a joint project from cyclonix and tusk wax celebrating the world of video game tech-nostalgia through electronic music. the label follows up its debut ganondorf ep, with the scorpion ep, named after the resurrected ninja from mortal kombat, who is the games greatest anti-hero, with the battle cry -vengeance will be mine-. the scorpion ep features tracks by si murray (of deep space orchestra) under his mogadishu young team persona, label boss cyclonix, and producers robert s and nant rouge.

the 9th vinyl release is here and we re very glad that, after a long time, we finally have the noisemaker back on the label. and this time on wax. the noisemaker, new label / agency regular member, has putted all of his finesse in 4 new outstanding productions. this new ep is an experience with various feelings emerging from the different moods of the tracks. sometimes it goes on with broken beats, sometimes it is just straight and it always comes with hypnotic, tripping raw and acid synthetizers, entertaining rythmics, all wrapped in dark atmospheres. the ep is supported by a high quality remix from american techno legend paul birken that delivered a real cutting edge rework of the original track -processing-. more than a remix, we could call it a reinterpretation. paul s very own flow is immediately hitting with patterns running crazy and an intense energy which is raised by heavy bass drums and slashing percs.

with its hq in rural germany - rockets & ponies is a coterie for the outsiders - those too strange for the normal business with an ethos that fosters freedom of expression, experimentation and an avant-garde approach. so who better to present a remix package of works by jazz luminary wolfgang haffner that includes ricardo villalobos & max loderbauer, nightmares on wax, and label padrone timo maas.

this is the first full-ep from denmarks erosion flow aka henrik koefed having made his first appearance on wax at the end of 2013 with his his spaced-out edit of nexts too close. this record, manmakemusics first release of 2014, pitches the breadth of koefods sound-running swinging, gritty house against grime-infused 4/4 and off beat electronica. this ep shows the damage that erosion flow can do!

system status (david rendal) caught our attention in 2012 with his self released pistachio ep. his production stood out to us instantly and his musicality shows through in his compositions. tusk wax, giles peterson & ashley beadle have all been paying attention to his work over the last few year and this ep was an opportunity for us to introduce another one of his tracks to the dance floor.
