there is no doubt that the native detroiter jeff mills, as >the wizard<, put his own mark on the cologne psycho thrill club-nights and thus the entire west german rhine area in terms of techno in the years 1991-2007 through his innumerable appearances in the cologne clubevent institution. mills track >mosainga<, which was given to claus bachor in 1996 for publication on his own label, also played a significant part in this well beyond the 2000s. in 1997 for the first time (unofficially) released in advance via roland caspers essence label on a >psycho thrill ep< white-label limited to 500 copies, mosainga finally appeared remastered in 2004 on psycho thrills own >motor city dayz vol.1< (ptne 2111) compilation including a dj-friendly bonus loop and then finally made its way straight into the clubs of the world. the track then received renewed attention beyond its natural decay value in the cologne bnkr years (2011-2016), which were deeply shaped by psycho thrill itself for colognes nitelife, in which the cologne label completely redefined the entire techno culture of the dome metropolis in its own way 2 be propelled forward once again.

the final destruction brings together all songs from their album plus some tracks from singles and compilations. everything has been remastered and enriched with an extended artwork based on the original design. limited edition of 600 copies.

the compilation reflects simon greens penchant for both expansive combinations of mixed musical elements and intricate structures. he uses the multi-instrumental arrangements of his own work as the basic structure on which to build a narrative across house, techno, electronica and breakbeat. hmot aka stas sharifullin is siberian-born, moscow-based musician, curator, educator and multi-disciplinary artist from siberia. using modular synthesizer, field recordings and visual programming languages, hmot collects sounds and organizes them into structures, pushing traditional electronic music genres beyond their comfort zones. “permanent imbalance” is his ep debut on the berlin imprint oqko following a single contribution to the label’s “form_1” compilation. structurally, “permanent imbalance” is disorderly and elusive, it’s a techno record which has undergone a gregor samsaesque metamorphosis. embedded with dizzying polyrhythmics, the discontinuity at the heart of the record might also be its central directive – interrupting the ecstatic clubbing experience in favor of a contradictory reality which is impossible to describe with regular rhythms. boldly submitted to the niche of dance music deviations, “permanent imbalance” also reveals techniques directly derived from early institutional electronics and musique concrete. but where others would pile on the layers, sharifullin keeps it trim. these are just some finishing touches enhancing his rickety and multifaceted soundscapes. subject to constant deviations of its own temporality, this music proves to mirror the crisis in which modernity resides – a state of life out of balance which now appears to be permanent as never before.

first release on trevor jacksons new unreleased archive recordings label pre- is a timeless collection of twisted techno, militant ebm and filthy electro produced by jackson himself and featuring vocals from douglas (nitzer ebb) mcarthy & chloe from c.a.r. originally produced in 2003 as a playgroup side project, pinklunch made its debut with a demo track on a dj hell international deejay gigolo compilation, tracks also appeared on compilations for the exclusive parisian department store collette and the berlin club f.u.n. the album lay in hibernation for nearly 15 years, gathering digital dust, rediscovered in 2014 trevor lovingly re-edited and remastered the original mixes as well as getting guest vocalists douglas mcarthy from nitzer ebb and chloe from c.a.r to appear on two tracks.

the first release on leipzig s ph17 is a compilation of pieces by companioned artists and promising talents which try to pass the limits of regular club music by combining its roots with experimental and weird structures. leibniz sampled his playstation sounds, ariadne created a symbiosis between opera singing and heavy electro acoustics, hobor, who is usually non-conform in his productions, experiments with loopy techno sounds which are creating their own dynamics in-between. annanan and stanley deliver breaks, lo-fi electro and wicked melodies.

the new release from help presents works from various help-releated artists. another release from the arhus-imprint that doesn’t directly state club-proof, but still, this one wouldn t mind having a spin or two by your local dance pusher.the opening track is by central, a ripe house tune with both melodies and good-vibes - probably the closest this young man has come to making an anthem. next up is the four piece group maizena with an ambiguous rhythmical ambient-house jam from the area of denmark with the least rainfall. on the b-side you’ll find a raw and to the point recording of dj sports and c.k joining ph 1 in his throwback techno-studio in the suburbs of arhus. next up is the long awaited debut from manmade deejay, who has been cooking a floating rhythm jam for this 5 course meal of modern danish cuisine. last but not least amsterdam-based kaap joined central on a fine day at rubber studios to create this dreamy and galloping ride. all in all this genuine piece of wax is filled with local devotion and love from the help-crew. thanks for the support!

dark. loud. immersive. lÄrm, or >the black box< as hungarian clubbers started to call it is most definitely the hottest spot in budapests electronic music scene right now. the club now turned to local house-techno heads to create its first vinyl release with names such as imre kiss, route 8, andras toth or s.olbricht as a mission statement and the result is just like what they imagined: a compilation of 13 varied tracks from classic drum machinery through acidic house to toned-down thumpers which demonstrates the very attitude of lÄrm.

stefan schutz aka juno6 belongs to the society of the leipzig new school, which for the last 5 years has cut a path through emotions and change in diverse regions. his particular real estate is comfortably between deeper house and thoroughly scrutinized techno. sometimes he tends in one direction, at other times the opposite. all the while juno6 captivates both listeners and dancers alike with something new. his live sets are always an occasion – sound expeditions in the most literal sense embedded powerfully, yet imminently fresh as they are bound to tradition. he even dials up the the ambient/electronic field with project beautiful planet earth, or together with friend daniel stefanik as sensual. the sonic awareness of juno6 is expressed consistently as a potent degree of warmth, which paints a distinct lively and long-lasting tone on club music. the tone is hardly useful as a flavor of the month, but rather, a music with stamina and character. his track >guununk< is for more than a few the quiescent highlight of the fat 5zig compilation. on his second from fat, he displays the juno6 portfolio fully and expands his present effect with a portion of funkiness and a sprinkle of pop – at least on one of the cuts. with clever vocals mr. schulz informs us yet again.

remerc is no new face to the scene. he has been active for quite some time in the german techno scene and has recently remixed butchs track >muskatnuss< on the trapez ltd 100 anniversary compilation. he had his breakthrough in 2010 with the track >tiny calf< which ended up on the cocoon compilation >party animals< mixed by marco carola and nick curly. remerc opens his release with >ruhewolf<, a restless funkedelic rocker with a beat that juggles elements in a loose and totally cool way. the track is spiced up with elements of surreal bliss and could go on forever were there not the limitations of the vinyl. on the flipside we find an hanne & lore remix that tightens and fattens up the beat and pimps up the basslines. adding some twisted sounds ... making it a clubber par excellence. >just a bards tale< is a unique remerc track and stands out from all the productions he has done so far. here new wave coloured edgy vocals meet a post-detroit string-chord arrangement. sounds adventurous and daring? well it is to some degree... but recall >no more words< by carl craig from 1991 but executed in a dead modern way.

over the last decade andre lodemann, a regular in the worldwide underground dancescene has released on many prolific labels incl. freerange, room with a view, dftd and innervisions. come 2018 lodemann is now releasing his album the deeper you go on his own label best works records. he started working on it in 2012, taking his time for his emotional artistic approach with a lot of attention to detail. the album successfully walks the imaginary spectrum of deep house, tech house and techno also taking dives into other waters. where his previous longplayer fragments was a compilation of past works, the deeper you go is his first artist album containing everything a listener would want to hear both in a club and at home. you can feel that the tracks where created out of the same mold. theres a mood, a common thread and a story through the works.the album is dark in a subtle way and yet has that positive vibe and aggressiveness to it. the deeper you go is mostly instrumental with two features by the british singer and songwriter huw costin, bandleader of torn sail.

elektroliza is a series of club events formed by a group of dedicated electronic music enthusiasts in 2006. it is hosted by ljubljana s channel zero, a legendary club that is part of the autonomous social centre metelkova which used to be the slovenian headquarters of the yugoslav national army.

filling a void in slovenia s electronic dance scene, the night was a hit from the start and quickly grew into a diverse and successful series focusing on new and exciting electro, acid and dark techno.

welcome to the next vinyl record on kickmasomaass records and we are back with next edition of hardgroove planet the second one. the only one real hardgroove techno sound on this planet released on vinyl! all others are only cheese! as always we bringing you also this time four tracks from creme de la creme of hardgroove techno producers. the first one chewy martins has delivered us track called dark shadows and i think that this one is one of his best tracks he has made. excellent dark synths with hard tribal beat and heavy kicks. a dream of every hardgroove fan and one must have for every hardgroove party. second track is from well known andy bsk called machine. this very poor producer from slovakia has finally delivered us one real hardgroove track that has a potential to destroy every club. his beat and sound is so catchy that every hardgroove fan will love this track. the next track on hardgroove planet 2 is from dj gumja called noelom. this slovenian dj and producer has delivered us a track with real hardgroove heart. great tribal beat filled up with a catchy vocal. great work from him! the last track and a grand finale for our hardgroove planet 2 is a track called moon from recycle bot. all fans who is know this producer knows that he is more hardtechno or techno producer as hardgroove but his track moon has something from hardgroove sound too and thats why we have added this track to our compilation. great hard beat with tribal percussions, dark synths and heavy kicks. so thats all for now. hope you all will love this new vinyl record and if you want to show some love then spread a word to your friends about this new release. thanks for all support. enjoy!

dark entries present -a tape-, a double lpof early work by helena hauff, a dj and record producer based in hamburg, germany. at university she studied fine art, physics, and systematic music science. she previously was a resident at hamburg s golden pudel club, where she hosted a night called birds and other instruments. as a selector she weaves energetically between electro, new wave, and ebm. her music, often recorded live in one take, has a raw intensity to it. she debuted with an ep on werkdiscs back in 2013 followed by records for lux_rec and bunker sublabel panzerkreuz as well as two collaborative eps for pan, produced under the name black sites with fellow pudel resident f#x. ‘a tape’ is a compilation of helena’s earliest recordings from 2011 and 2014, originally released on limited cassette by handmade birds in 2015. clocking in at over 50 minutes, this collection spans hauff’s musical universe, from jacking acid-techno to krautish zone-outs and scuzzy feedback interludes. it’s tempting to consider it helena’s debut album, but she views these tracks as mostly forgotten sketches left on the cutting room floor. it a gripping collection of deep, sinister analog synth sequences, industrial dissonance, and heavy percussion. her equipment set up was a roland alpha juno 2, juno 60, tb-303, tr-707 and tr-808. both of the discs end with hauff stepping outside of the intentionally stiff, robotic rhythms, instead showing her skill at crafting less conventional electronic sounds. all songs have been mastered by james plotkin with vinyl eq and lacquer cut by george horn at fantasy studios in berkeley. the record is housed in a custom made jacket designed by eloise leigh, featuring a checkered graphic and black lines, highlighted by yellow and green for maximum visual tension. each copy includes a double-sided postcard with notes.

welcome to fifth hardgroove bomb on kickmasomaass records. this time we bringing you a various artists compilation filled with four great and powerfull tracks from all over the world. we start with almir ljusa who is living in bosnia and herzegovina and is a great hardgroove producer. his track -sturmgewehr 59- is one of his best. powerfull beats, monster percussions, full loaded with extreme power for all clubs and partys. the second artists is a big icon on hardgroove music scene and every hardgroove fan must to know him. his name is david moleon from granada, spain. his track -4 legs- is little slower as we are accustomed from his older production but its full loaded with -david moleon style-. bomb beats, bomb percussions and definitely one great track for every dj to play. next artists on our compilation is fuma funaky from slovenia. in his track -destormus- we can find elements of tech-house and deep house dressed into one great techno track with nice driving bassline and great percussions. definitely one great track from him. the last and fourth artist on our compilation is norman andretti aka quarill from hungary. his track -funkalike- sounds like you were on ibiza. great tribal percussions, funky bassline, and -funkalike-. all what you need is summer, swimming pool, 2x2000w and this vinyl record to have little ibiza home. difinitely one great vinyl record worth all the money you pay for it. enjoy!

rivulet records are continuing their release just where the compilation at the beginning of the year left us. again bringing 4 artists together on one release shifting between dusty, mellow house and some how twisted techno. peonies from russia, who has been releasing tapes on his own label „summer night“ since 1 year, sets the mood for the record with his track „soft light“ which sounds almost like a dim, fading memory of a club night full of classy house records. the rework by ital, the head behind „lovers rock“ from new york, builds up the mood in a complete different, driving and technoid atmosphere. the b-side is the first cooperation between two very old friends, berni from trier and jonas palzer from berlin, both part of portray records. their tracks are playing with the same kind of hauntology as the a—side, building up a sound that is familiar and distant in the same way - referring to old records by boards of canada as well as to the contemporary sound of „house“ at its best meaning.

with the new sublabel ourselves established under the roof of the well-known o*rs crew from leipzig, a new label has been launched which can without a doubt be called a matter of the heart. production, graphic design, promotional shipping, in leipzig truly every single step remains within the family. with the now appearing compilation imagination the newly born baby ourselves directly presents itself in the best possible light. kicking off the sampler is düsseldorf-based artist sello. the house track characterized by its analog drums, deep chords and snotty bassline completely places his bet on deepness. in his very own catchy way, it sure is the perfect entrance into the musical debut. the second track of the release, a collaboration of jan ketel and his partner in crime siggatunez, shines through its very dynamic and driving buildup. the title being a graceful tribute, it carries the name of the eponymous berlin club farbfernseher. nevertheless, such a warm and dreamy house track might as well serve as the perfect commendation for the first open airs of spring. the flipside impresses with a ruff and dirty club track by berlin-based producer braunbeck, which self-ironically manifests itself particularly through the self-recorded vocals. as a true humorous banger, the track adds even more musical depth to the already outstanding release. the completion of the compilation and therefor also the most technoid track of the release is contributed by perel. a tool-like classic, standing out through its massive kick and hi-hat called felene hischer. nasty, groovy and timeless, just how we like it!

“prÉvision #02” is the second compilation and third vinyl of forecast label, french record label originated in 2012. it gathers six house, electronica and techno tracks in varied styles for various artists. the original idea was to make artists exchanges ideas together to create tracks that would exactly define each one’s identity. while cheaper shepherd’s “weasels” show again their shiny and catchy vintage house, romain play explores several music genders through a train trip across jazz, psychedelic rock and house. the new comer roman s releases his first track ever, showing his talent for groove and minimal house. on the b-side, d°c, breilitz and sir squi explore three kinds of techno. first track of this side, “erebus” shows a kompakt-like new wave but club-oriented techno. “raw interference” could without any doubt be played at berghain. last track, “(crashed)” is on the psychedelic slope of techno. it uses a sitar, to ends the compilation on a shinier note.

with the first monasterio release, the team behind the moscow clubbing institution has aimed to recreate the atmosphere that has made the club such an important part of the russian techno movement. each track from the compilation strives to represent a dimension of the club’s style, starting with powerful opener the chamber. oliver deutschmann, a close friend of monasterio, references the main room of the club and takes us on an anthemic ride full of organs and sonic spectrum requisitioning buzz. the mutating and pulsating groove of russian resident unbalance follows, bringing forth a change in the atmosphere and the hypnotic synths and austere percussion work of young ukrainian talent recid take the listener to the prime hours of the party. danish dj/producer anastasia kristensen overtakes by ways of air in a high-speed modular chase, bringing the night to a close and leaving us with high hopes for our next journey through the corridors and chambers of the temple of techno.

wrapping up a short summer break, speicher returns with a powerful double bill from rising duo hunter/game. its the italian producers second contribution to the series, after having amassed quite a few nods with sneaky club anthems hexagon and bermuda (kompakt extra 83). this was followed by their strong rework of wevals gimme some a much acclaimed highlight of our total 15 compilation (kompakt 340 cd 125). the new material sees them digging even deeper into the hardware circuits while cranking up the momentum a notch or two: opening banger adaptation doesnt feel the need to ease you into the experience, dropping you right in the middle of its frenzied staccato synth throb instead. meanwhile, the path opts for rich, saturated colors and epic melodies, slowly building its case until its ready to blow its lid. these are two extraordinary techno tunes that will command your attention and leave no floor unturned an essential release for both the label and the artists.
