music is strongly linked to memory, sometimes just a simple note will trigger a deep feeling of nostalgia or emotion. the new homesick series was created by music enthusiasts who are living half a world away from their birthplaces. their concept is a play on memory, to re-edit and rework songs from the past into something which is timeless, tracks which feel fresh but retain their memories. for the first release, the homesick team have curated three pieces by drop out orchestra, late nite tuff guy, zimmer, and amadei. doo have carefully reworked -no scrubs- into a warm, bass driven, disco jam suited for the dancefloor, alntg has provided a solid groove theory lesson as only he can, and the ep is rounded-off with a special (double) bonus track for all the people who love 80s-era french pop music, reworked by zimmer and the asia-based newcomer amadei.

people must jam is our sydney based warehouse party that we have been running for five years. the ethos behind the night initially, was to bring djs to australia that we wanted to hear but that had never been, and to put them on in intimate spaces and let them dig deep into their collections to play whatever they wanted. over the years we have brought rahaan, al kent, leo zero, mark seven, trusme, frank booker and more to australia for the first time to play. floor jammers vol. 1 is the first in a series of eps from some of our favourite past and future guests. the record is pressed on 180gm vinyl and strictly limited to 300 copies.

boya is davin conaty, a young musician from the northwest of ireland. he grew up playing classical piano and trombone, which he left behind at the age of sixteen to play drums in a punk band. now he has moved onto machines - and somehow he has managed to extract as much feeling from them as live instruments. this is his first ep. we are proud to present it.

approaching theomatics tenth anniversary, andrey zakharov aka an-2 brings together sunset stories, the first true long play released on the label. the six tracks , including previously unreleased ode to andromeda and elegy fm, represent an-2s very best production from 2006 to 2011.
