with this release sinan kaya, an istanbul based dj and producer, is becoming a fresh member of the berlin tonkind crew. since 2001 his passion became also his profession, which he continuously dispread with dj-ing and scores of releases across the bosporus over to europe. his productions and sets can be defined as deep and playful. so aswell this release, which comes up with three variable tracks. something else in the front, shows sinan kayas touch for the impulsive sound.this track becomes a real trip on the dance floor and reflects a farsighted feeling for elctronic dance music. on the fells operates more the minimal genre and adepts a symbiosis of many samples, a duby bass and a bumpy rollin groove. as last but not least there is bloom, a rather charming and friendly tech/ deep house track consisting all required ingredients to make it work as dance floor teaser. in all three tracks its possible to notice some eclectic material of jazz, funk, chigago and jackin fragments put together to a unique sound and providing a different vision for life

leena017 witnesses dapayk solo in full bloom and with space to breathe. a-side >berlin bedlam< builds up layers upon layers of synths, paving the way for a break out of melodic charms that arrive. its a cinematic sound scape that could be played at any number of stages over the course of the night. b-side >fawlty< is equally as melodic, but certainly fulfills the role of the calm after the storm. minimal, but with musical flare, its the perfect companion

here we have a double a-side 12-inch, with an intriguing new development of the secondo sound. still banging, still aimed at the club but with a sense of maturity and laid-backness, that the previous secondo material for dreck records might not have been centred around. the whole outlook has become more house orientated and we are very excited about this new mixture of the secondo splice-funk with the steadiness of early 90s house generating its own idiosyncratic sound. on the a-side, i think im gonna likeestablishes the housey mood of the 12straight off. a brief vocal sample is dotted over a relaxed rhythm until a break mid-track introduces the second half to its full extent and bloom. ædoktor panglosson the b-side continues with the mid-tempo flavour set out by the aside and is defined by a steady build up towards a disco sample beautifully placed towards the end of the track, where a heavy bass line cuts short the euphoria of disco strings. the sampling and references in both tracks have been pushed to the background and mentioning any of them would not do this exciting new material any justice. its all fresh!

after his outstanding album debut christian naujoks is back withthe first of a 12 inch trilogy to be released on dial records. adoring the sound of pitched down pre-recorded strings dressed in deep, dub-styled echoes, east end boys is a song dedicated to to the raw and powerful sublimity of physical sounds. the song was created while naujoks was working on a live set for the akustic saloon at legendary berlin based berghain club in april 2009. overwhelmed by his flatmates live performance, lawrence decided to produce a remix of his favorite christian naujoks tune >bloom<, which appears on the flipside.

nils ohrmann moved to berlin in the middle of the 90s, where he knew the rave culture was in full bloom- from e-werk to ostgut. he himself was a dj at the infamous schnabelbar in kreuzberg for eight years. since 2004 he has been a resident at rosis in friedrichshain. in may 2009 he made his first ep for hula hoop recordings (a sub-label of rompecabeza), which was a hit in the berlin clubs. coming up next is catalog number 2: >green sleeves<.

the french trio evergreen (previously name we are evergreen) grew up listening to pop music from the us and the uk. yet, like many of the most influential artists of todays french pop scene (fishbach, halo maud, etc.) they value both french and english to deliver their message. this new album Ôoverseas was recorded with ash workman (franois & the atlas mountains, metronomy, christine and the queens), and see the band use a warm sound loaded with synthesizers and draw influences from the likes of django django, air or metronomy to craft percussive electro-pop songs.
