after a short hiatus, misericord is back for 2010 with more off-kilter missives for back-room massive. first up is the welcome return of mr al usher. his >gnanfou< ep christened the label back in the summer of 2007 and was rapturously received / licensed all over the place. al has been quiet of late, busy being a dad and doing a proper job, but prins thomas put his out of the loop gem >lullaby for robert< out again in 2009 to much acclaim. this new release >hilversum< is very much its follow-up: al at his most unashamedly gorgeous, re-contextualising an old deutsche neue welle melody and weaving it into a characteristically intricate and beautiful piece of post-balearic loveliness. for the flip we commissioned a remix from one of europes most exciting new producers, barcelonas john talabot.

this new beginning will start with an ep from letkolben coming straight from russia, and 3 very cool remixes from mike wall and steven beyer! letkolben offers 2 original amazing tracks, full of energy with foreign influences and many great breaks to keep you in good tension. steven beyer and mike wall delivered two variations to complete this great package.

this scottish producer puts trapez ltd again on the techno map. after a couple of more housy releases on trapez ltd this release is a tougher one.&#8232,,circular star works techno a bit in a post detroit fashion... the sounds smells of industrial sites, burned rubber and has that certain sexy machine rhythm to it which we always felt was the jeff mills factor. they have little glamour about them, they are true and a direct force.
