this third outing expands further the mosso musical range, presenting alejandro mosso in some of his most rhythmic and yet, dreamiest atmospheres. unlike mosso002, which got the producer to hunt in his forgotten documents, both airs present on this record have been impetuously developed over the last few months. on the a-side, pleamar is a driving number which boots with a hypnotic metallophone pattern, slowly giving way into a electro (rga)nic piano fest, which in turn twists itself into bent, crushed and perverted synth whistles. this a-side has been designed keeping the lower half of the body in mind, offering full waves of joy and jubilation! now that you are grounded enough, how about flipping that record and meeting us on bajamar - low tide, litterally. on the shores of this b-side is where a wonderful landscape of shimmering spray and glistening stars await you. here again alejandros ability to bring together biotic and mechanic in a homogeneous unity is best revealed. in a magical tour de force, bajamar sends tingles from the base of your heels, up and all along your spine, into your crown, triggering instant wonder, reveries and realisations.

jmx makes his second appearance for us after his remix on the atapy ep last year. also known as one half of belfast duo jet project, jmxs solo project takes influence from everything from old mood ii swing records to modern day bass music creating a raw sound that is completely his own.

this masterpiece was produced by st. petersburg based musician alexey nikitin aka nocow for the siberian label gimme5. the lp version will be released as coloured vinyl by fauxpas musik. this picture-perfect album with twelve tracks holds a special vision of perfection. rumbling beats just as burial, the melodies, dubs and sounds though seem to evolve a life of its own and in the end you are overwhelmed by the dimensions of these tracks. vinyl tastes better.

origo means beginning in latin and marks the point where two coordinates meet. it is also the name of lisa & kroffes debut ep. the four tracks got created during improvisation sessions in the small stockholm apartment where the married couple lives. the music were originally composed for live purpose but during the recording sessions the tracks organically grew into something new and unexpected. the music spans between dark hypnotic drones and light airy melodies.

fresh new label project by venetian disco head bottin who needs no further introduction! after releases on eskimo, italians do it better, bear funk etc he has now decided to run his own business and press this new production on this psychedelic-looking piece of orange plastic. lust is definitely a hard throbbing and sweaty space disco house track with a hint of deranged prog madness. layers and layers of synths and bass lines build up in a long enthralling foreplay until heavy disco beats violently kick in, finally add spicy disco stabs and you have got yourself an incendiary tool sure to set things on fire. dont sleep on this one! crazy black plattered, orange glowing vinyl.

rob was an enigmatic recording artist from ghana who cut two albums for the legendary essiebons label in 1977. neither of these were big domestic hits at the time and have since become prized amongst collectors in recent years. the title track from this lp was always one of the most popular on the first soundway release ghana soundz and over the years soundway has been asked many times to re-issue the lp in its entirety.

jay west from argentina has been releasing quality deep house (the real sort that is) for the past decade, last years smile ep on bebr got some serious playlist and chart action from everybody who knows their shit, and were please to welcome him to the moodmusic family. the ep starts with blame the music, the sort of feel-good house music we used to get loads of in the early to mid 90s from the big apple. swinging beats, almost disco bass and a sunshine filled vocal are the ingredients for a tune, and jay has delivered one. this will probably not be belted by the kids house community, but real heads knows what to do with this weapon. down continues the journey with victor simonelli style keys and a bouncy bassline, making place for the low-slung in & out tune which have some serious west coast mushroom influences. we love it! to end the ep the catchy little mean machine finally brings the smile to your face.
