new release on eye teeth by israel vines featuring the hybrid techno bass electro anthem “gatekeepers”, the dark techno gem “unscathed” and the ambient “repose in dub”. we started this sublabel as way of exploring pure and experimental techno in an entirely contemporary context (where it often uses historical lenses and a wider musical context). this is techno from detroit and america, not detroit techno. we would like to see american techno evolve, and this new imprint is an attempt to be a catalyst in that arena. this ep was pre-mastered by neel at enisslab studio in rome. the vinyl was mastered by carl at trutone and pressed at archer records in detroit.

mono junks dum records has been dictating trends in the world of minimalistic techno since the 1990s, and its 34th release is as special as any. this one comes from label boss kimmo rapatti aka mono junk vs mesak, who is better known as fellow finn, tatu metsätähti, aka one half of mr velcto fastener and someone who has released on dexter & steffis klakson. together the pair serve up three mixes of their jam and an additional track. title track deep in my mind is a paranoid techno cut with freaky vocal riffs repeating the title as gurgling synth lines and sleek drums rumble below. twitchy synths and high pressure perc add to the hypnotic effect, and overall its easy to see this one making for some perfectly weird dance floor moments. the mix by mono junk is completely the opposite: in his hands it is a beat-less, serene and beautifully styled electro cut that takes you deep into brain soothing space. the electro mind version is then a full on electro jam, with plenty of aqueous synths and fluid lines all squiggling along in classic detroit style. final track sysdrum is back to the raw, with angsty drum lines, crisp and slapping snares and oodles of reverb all making for a brain frying trip.

the bush is a homage to the place where i have lived for the last decade (askew road). the askew road itself is slowly changing so i wanted to document all the places that play a big part in mine and my families lives before they eventually get sold for more flats or tescos. 002 was all about the mighty sun pub which has now been sold and transformed into a costa coffee and an estate agents. next up is our local park which hopefully will never see change as its been our little slice of heaven in w12 since we moved here.

a family move to germany in the 90s expanded his horizons and musical repertoire but his homebase sound remained the same tech house and techno with groovy rhythms and bang out beats. as an artist, he has released on drumcode, cocoon recordings, soma, intec, bek audio, traumschallplatten, trapez, herzblut and bedrock. his tracks are always a mixture between dancefloor moovers including groovy rhythms and big basslines. mark reeve presents his second release on drumcode, run back, a four track ep crammed with heavy hitting kick drums and his signature big basslines. the dark sounds and heavy textures are typical of reeve and hes showing no sign of slowing down yet. four tracks of brooding techno, this ep is one not to be missed.

roberto capuano has delivered drumcode an immense 3 track ep that will blow out the cobwebs and see roberto step back onto drumcode with a bang. lacing each track with pads and tantalising hook lines, capuano s tracks fire on all cylinders with good use of vocals and drum rhythms. his tracks have a certain swagger that only roberto can conjure.

italys enrico sedda has been releasing material since 2011 both under his own name and as 000 via the likes of sleep is commercial and amam. here we see enrico return with his pure analogue sound under his own name, launching amams new vinyl offshoot imprint mama recordings, a new venture for the italian imprint but retaining the understated warmth and class of its parent label.

we are very proud to present this new single on help! the a-side, gratitude, is a track recorded in 2014 by dj central in rubber studios, aarhus. if it wasnt for the support and encouragement of fellow regelbau-homies kasper skov and dj sports, this piece of energetic dancemusic wouldn t have seen the light of day. the long, vivid, ambient penta-tune on the 2nd face was recorded during same summer in amsterdam by ask your hands (tobias sachse, kaap, bobby van putten, dj sports and central). releases like this dont thread everybodys needle but we are gonna throw it against the wall and see if it sticks.

derrick carters seminal sound patrol album originally released in 1994, * sweetened - no lemon*, will see a re-release in january 2016. the alias provided a place for carter to explore deeper and sometimes more atmospheric styles. the sound patrol record originally came out via chicagos organico label, while derrick carters own arts & labour is handling the reissue. the triple vinyl re issue adds four new unreleased tracks. the whole album has been re mastered for 2016. this follows a limited edition sampler 12 inch released in 2015 which contained another 2 unreleased tracks.
