a classic bit of space disco from the french scene of the 70s. four long tracks that are all pretty darn moogy, and pretty darn great! the work here would fit nicely with some of the best keyboard heavy club of the us scene at the time! not exactly like some of the work on p&p, or the grooves of el coco over at avi - but not that dissimilar either, and often put together with a spare, simple approach thats a welcome contrast from overblown disco of the time! most numbers build up from a funky bassline and beats - adding in the keyboards with great relish, and really letting them jam and get crazy over the top. theres certainly a bit of cosmic fusion going on here too

as on his first 12inch hidden structure ep, finland based producer rasmus hedlund is delivering his follow up with uplifting, energetic and ass shakin future electronic music. the opener >tasureitten jaelkeen< is a combination of the deepness of house and the direct drive and aggressiveness of the monetanous techno sound, stirred up with that special, classic and timeless feeling while the a2 takes the vibe harder with layers of pacy minimal soaked rhythms by remixer uemit akauna and his fresh mixing gives this track a real big system bass edge. on the flip we have kolinator, a more percussive tool and the b2 skuuges taas. all four tracks are aimed squarely at the dancefloor, with straight forward 4/4 beats driving through raw synth stabs, minimal percussion and deep bass - a clear-cut killer groove record which nails the crowd to the floor!

excellent trippin techno track !! after mihalis presented himself as the next big thing he now brings his friends in the spotlights also. and not without a reason! these guys created a killer of a trackespecially for syndikaat. perfectly balanced beats with loads of sublayers and nice synths. mihalis himself liked the track so much that he decided to not only remix this once, but to remix this twice!! the result is amazing, simply 3 huge tracks on 1 12inch.

the kazey & bulldog picture disc is followed by the first d2s release from our hero rod lee - a baltimore legend in his own right and in our eyes the no. 1 club producer, bar none. this super aggro dude has serious issues. he just needs to open his mouth and kids cry flames. for his first d2s release, rod commits re-mastered versions of two of our favourite cuts produced by the man. we first heard >understand< when we scored a bunch of scottie bs ebay auctions, and to this day its one of the best baltimore tracks ive ever heard. you can play this sh*t anywhere and the crowd just freaks out. hip hop heads love it, techno heads love it, even your girlfriend loves it. we coupled it with rods simple but ultra effective remix of the eurythmics classic, >sweet dreams<. when the catch an attitude tour dropped in on our club in glasgow, a-trak dropped this beast for all of 30 seconds and people went nuts. bannanas even. you could argue that the eurythmics remix thing is overdone and outdated, but if you did so, wed know for sure you hadnt heard rods version. anyway... we tracked it down and got it on the flip, so really this is more like a double a. both cuts are re-mastered (but still raw like the day they were made) and cut loud on heavy 12inch vinyl

carl falk is a techno producer and dj from stockholm, sweden. born in 1980, he has been producing electronic music since the mid-90s. the focus towards techno came in 1999 during his year in london among technoheads and clubbers alike. currently, the music carl creates is funky and fast. tough beats are mixed with funky elements and basically any percussion from around the world. the mixture of elements creates firm tracks aimed at the dj and dancefloor.
