the two brothers of gebrÜder teichmann have been regular guests at the early killekill events. that is because they have a very similar approach to electronic music as we do. first of all they are deeply in love with the music itself and not the fame, the money or whatever one might expect to get when making music, and second they have a wide musical horizon and interesting perspectives on it, because they are active on several levels, as djs, musicians, promoters etc. first of all though they got class and taste, and so we are happy to present their cooperation with one of our personla heroes and one of the very big names in early house music: johnny dangerous aka foremost poets.

manchesters hudd traxx imprint kicks off 2013 with a bang bringing you the omatsuri ep this january, a collaborative effort from spaniards javi bora and le vinyl.
javi bora and le vinyl have released music for reputable labels such as 2020 vision, off, robsoul, catwash and loco records. both producers maintain a heavy dj schedule on their home turf of spain and further afield, building their reputations as two of spains most prominent deep house artists. this record marks a milestone for hudd traxx as they reach their 40th release, its no surprise looking back that the label has such a highly praised reputation within the underground, having put out cuts from dj sneak, agnes, sascha dive, rick wade and rolando to name a few.

over the last year i have traveled to canada frequently for gigs and got to know the small but healthy electronic music scene there. cities like montreal, vancouver and toronto have brought forth many established artists over the past few years, such as egyptrixx, azari & iii, basic soul unit, jacques greene, lunice and sixtoo, but 2012 has seen a new breed of no-nonsense house and techno producers come up via labels like turbo recordings and naked lunch. this *dovercourt ep* features three very talented producers: kevin mcphee, nautiluss and gingy. their tracks are a dedication to their hometown of toronto. being removed from the house/techno epicentres of berlin and london, these three are much less interested in what is fashionable or trendy, and more in bringing us straight to the point, no frails jacking house music. i have been playing these three extensively in my dj sets, and i hope you will too. so out to toronto, this one is for you! enjoy. martyn

to celebrate seven years at the top, hive audio presents 7 years hive - the third compilation to come out on the clubs fledgling music imprint, dedicated to exposing hive resident artists and friends to the wider world. once again club and label honchos adrian wollhaf and samuel gmur - collectively known as animal trainer - have curated the compilation, cherry picking more modern house gems that have served as plat du jour over the last year.

it has been a long time coming, but we have finally got rayko to release a small collection of his infectious creations with us. he first cropped up on nang with his distinctive addition to volume 3 of our array series which picking up the record of the month accolade in mixmag and went down a storm at the nang parties. >in the cave< is a two track ep with an edit from ohm fat, acting as a prelude to an album due out next year.

mark es collaborative project e series continues with the follow up to the excellent megacity ep. on this 12, mark teams up with keyboardist nat woodcock & vocalist greg bird to piece together another excellent ep, combining the influences from both producers ranging through 80s synth pop, classical avant garde, italo disco & detroit techno. a departure from previous merc releases which have relied on sample heavy driven deep house, project e holds tight to the deep house direction but takes it into distinctive cosmic territory.

seaghdha have made a significant dent in the stripped down warehouse music world with the first two releases in their celtic numerals series. a tri continues the theme perfectly, offering up three more precision workouts for dark spaces pared down, atmospheric and totally absorbing grooves throughout! each release will be strictly limited to 300 copies, vinyl only. the series will run to ten releases in total, titled 1-10 in gaelic.

slag is a live techno band consisting of equal parts musicians and djs. the four experienced men draw on their experience from record shops dance floors and film-/ theater-music and have the common passion for techno in their neural pathways. with the passion for electronic music and classic synthesizers, they created a sound black as oil and white as freshly fallen snow. the band varies their performance with a large portion jam elements and makes their live shows tension filled in both club and concert performances. a concert by fire slag starts in the deepest dub and ends in a furious techno ballad.
