wild rumpus is bitches brew head honcho colleen cosmo murphy (cosmodelica / classic album sundays) and former captain beefheart axeman and jeff buckley collaborator gary lucas. with wild rumpus they bring together seemingly contradictory sounds such as disco, rock, surf music, blues, dub and country while enlisting some extraordinary talent along the way. his latest effort is the most indulgent wild rumpus song yet and is somewhat of a cross between ashra temple and giorgio moroder clocking in at an epic 12 minutes. the remix is courtesy of mudd and has balearic classic written all over it. the single also includes an instrumental version of >tikkety-boo< which is a preview to the vocal version with lambchops kurt wagner which will be featured on the album.
