first dosem s album on suara was released on september of 2014. after his great success it deserved a solid remix pack with some of the hottest artists from the worldwide electronic scene. in this first part we have four of his best friends remixing some tracks from city cuts. coyu giving his personal touch to message, uto karem doing his job with expression and christian smith and wehbba working hand in hand on city pulse. remember. this is just the first part!

the a1 was never a big surprise. mattias fridell s consumed for profit was one of the tracks of the year, and surely fridell s personal best track, and was played by anyone who at least plays a bit of techno in their sets. the usual fridell quality of standard and a tight synth line! a2 sees french artist electric rescue s quarries in the a. mochi remix. a peak-time banger, slapping the synth stabs right into your face. this one always gets the floor jumping. the b-side kicks off with label-head advance human s pure , stripping things down to some essential moody but slamming techno, right up there amongst his best productions. b2 has +platform s mosses closing things off, and as we came to know and love from +platform, it s out there, dubby and dreamy techno, born for those deeper berghainesque floors.

g2014 is over and downbeat records, is back with a new release. jose rico and urtzi, come back again with another 4 tracks vinyl. memories from another life and no back memory are two deep house pearls with minimal sequences and emotional synths made by urtzi. at the same time, jose rico is the responsible for the mechanical and powerful aint, and the percussive and ethereal small island, probably one of his best tracks so far. and, as they did with that space is the place ep, they have made here a consistent release, setting their personal view of the dance music.

elektra release of charlotte gainsbourgs third studio album titled irm. the title is derived from m.r.i, which reflects the medical procedure charlotte had to go through after suffering a head injury in a water skiing accident in 2007. the album is charlottes most personal to date, and is produced by acclaimed grammy nominated artist/multi-instrumentalist beck. what started as a brief recording session between charlotte gainsbourg and beck ended up to be the body of work that is irm. over the course of a year and a half of writing and recording together, becks role grew to encompass all aspects of the creative process. he worked seamlessly with charlotte co writing the lyrics and produced and mixed the recording. (this is the first time he has ever been so involved in another artists work.)
