the enigmatic dj ice tits manifests yet again! the a1 cut is a dance floor monster with heaving, wet slabs of bass chopped with urgent vocals and sizzling percussion before moving into more emotional, melancholy, and sometimes strange territory. dj ice tits is a reasonable person.

the second installment for the label comes from sheffield based artist tommy vicari jnr. the ep starts with always be here, track which gives the release the name and sets up the mood with an uplifting vibe. rudow explores more esoteric realms, bringing you into deeper states of mind. ramshackles ventures into more dub influenced territory, expansive chords and a twisted beat make it a monster in big sound systems. untoucome closes the ep with a heavy bassline, sprinkled with some tripped out sounds making it perfect for a closing trip.

having made himself an indispensable member of the uk soul/funk scene, playing live performances of ‘zoology’ to much acclaim, as well as setting up a regular groove night at london’s 606 jazz club, carl has recently finished work on his second album - pixel planet, which tells the story of an alien spacecraft, exploring our solar system, 30.000 years into the future - looking for the last bastion of human activity long after we have departed. this dystopian tale is told using a huge array of cosmic electronics, many of which were soldered together by carl himself, including his own diy synthesiser - the recyclotron 64 - constructed out of commodore 64 chips and built in an mdf box, and providing some of the monster bass lines on this album. as well as calling in the digisoul gang, some new friends appear on this album, including powerhouse drummers pete ray biggin, and ‘jungle’ jimmy norden.

inspired by the original, the pair turn moneymax into cashminus to deliver two tracks born in a place where belgian new beat, ebm and early rave sounds meet. the result is club monster no satisfaction, which comes in two incarnations: the original vocal version plus an even meaner acid dub for those anxious strobo moments.

it was such a hot day in may 2014, we all remember, moscoman drop by his home town of tel aviv to do a party with krikor aka crackboy as his guest, they had a few hours to kill just before the gig, mosco rang up his old compadres and brothers in arms red axes, to see what they were up to, they were just hanging at the studio, “we’re coming” he said, and the rest is history, thanks to the taxi driver abed that was waiting downstairs to take them to the gig, they had vocals to finish this track and mosco had the chance to play this track that night already. powered by a uncompromising mix from no doubt one of the best producers of electronic music, roman flügel, and another killer by red axes, not a lot is left to do but wait for this monster record to drop.
