spencer parkers work them records reflects his uncluttered attitude to electronic music. regular vinyl shopping to unearth and delight in non-digital gems, energetic tracks from the deepest house to the most ardent techno, all focussed on one thing: the dancefloor. for its fifth release, he has captured one of his current favourites to bring their wide-ranging and organic sounds to the table: pittsburgh track authority.
the trios first and brilliant ep in 2013 follows twelves on argot and uzuri, and is a neat representation of the expansive borders of parkers own record box, taking in the spectrum from driving, bleepy techno to nervous, shuffling bass-driven house.

2013 is the debut album from justin velor, a vibrant technicolor collision of styles (you might call it a musical dr. frankenstein, he says) incorporating everything from vangelis-inspired synth drones and nocturnal acid house rhythms to tender folk melodies and psychedelic flourishes. >i wanted to make a fantastical soundscape with colourful dynamics and a soul,< he explains.

following a string of successful solo eps in 2012 including joy and happiness, daniel steinberg returns with cant find my baby, the first single from his upcoming sophomore album treptow due in march. staying true to his ethos of producing infectious, personality-packed electronic music thats a world away from so much of the cookie cutter house and techno that exist throughout club land, steinberg has emerged with a record shimmering with real heart and feeling.

the original first 50 weapons of choice cd has been released in summer 2010 as a cardboard sleeve, limited to 1000 individually numbered copies. previously on cd and digital only. in summer 2012 50 weapons has pressed a vinyl version as a very limited run of 150 hand stamped whitelabels only available through hard wax in berlin. since the original cd version as well as the vinyl are sold out now for quite some time, but are constantly asked for, it is time for a repress.

since 2009 xxxy, aka rupert taylor, has released a string of 12 inches through labels like infrasonics, well rounded and ten thousand yen that have showed off his idiosyncratic takes on uk garage and bass-driven house. his debut for rinse picks up where they left off, with three tracks of shimmering, synth-led house music, marked out by taylor�s distinctive spiralling melodies and sampled voices.

manchesters hudd traxx imprint kicks off 2013 with a bang bringing you the omatsuri ep this january, a collaborative effort from spaniards javi bora and le vinyl.
javi bora and le vinyl have released music for reputable labels such as 2020 vision, off, robsoul, catwash and loco records. both producers maintain a heavy dj schedule on their home turf of spain and further afield, building their reputations as two of spains most prominent deep house artists. this record marks a milestone for hudd traxx as they reach their 40th release, its no surprise looking back that the label has such a highly praised reputation within the underground, having put out cuts from dj sneak, agnes, sascha dive, rick wade and rolando to name a few.
