deep a & biri have been involved in the tel aviv house scene for some time. with this 3 track ep plus digital bonus track they give their debut now.
>twisted tango< is the most stripped down of all three tracks and a real cool groover. one of these tracks that grow enormously with volume and space. these two guys have got a good vision of how dance music should be to clad the clubbers in cotton batting. their cool way of transmitting indifference has always been the carrier of sensuality and sexiness in entertainment and it does create a certain kind of peppermint stench here. the vocals stabs in this one work like dubby elements which deep a & biri drop like things dropping out of your pocket.

vakant continues its valt series with the third installment of uncompromising club tracks. started in 2008 with onur Özer and followed up by tolga fidan in 2009, dario zenker brings up valt3 in 2010. vakants representation in the decent south of germany locates belfort as close to detroit as its indefinite in time. was it written by little dario in the 90s? or maybe on a us tour in detroit itself with some helping hands? we dont know, but surely have a timeless piece of music here

flashback records presents the fourth release in their series of 12inch singles from some of the scenes finest talents. with no expense spared, flashback aims to press the finest sounding, fully mastered tracks complete in ltd edition artwork by infamous london street artist inkie. the mysterious wild geese crew return after their previous flashback smash macho disco master touch is a firing proto house joint, laced with rich percussion, a broad electronic low end and all manner of dancefloor friendly tricks and turns, the geese wig out a little more on the dub, cutting to the chase with a more acidic interpretation. meanwhile hits from the gong takes the scissors to a psyched out jam, reassembling the fine ingredients into a whole new space cake.

their album is not about breaking barriers, but it is their own little twisted version of what they call techno. for yotoko techno can be heard in everything, so as such it is all techno. domu and shifty are influenced by lots of different stuff, soul, jazz, disco, hip hop, techno, some old break beat, new broken stuff.. as well 20 pence mad charity shop finds.. the album is about yotoko making music they think is cool and realizing that all this music is the same no matter what the bpm or groove.

mr dehnert delivering! after is succesfull releases on fachwerk and the first basement series release its time for another essential techno release by mike dehnert. after the little hype on the many blogs its another release that will create a stir. lautschrift is probably the sexiest masculine techno track we ve heard in a while! a wolf in sheep clothes. undercooled phat techno drive with a nice mellow vocoder voice, soft bleepy sounds and a deep sub-bass... and then slowly the sexy bassline becomes more and more dominant and energetic and the tracks turns into a killer. amazing track! regelschrift and nano are two heavy techno tracks from the neue berliner techno schule. just as we like it!

kraken are rolling again, with their second release in as many weeks (check out krkn009), and its good to have the denmark based dons back! very little is known about a side artist and la resident jaybird, but im sure plenty of people will be on the hunt for info after this little number drops. absolutely relentless, crushing dubstep music, a refreshingly nasty little number reminiscent in atmosphere to one of krakens earliest releases eye of the demon by wolfman (jsl), this tune is currently tearing up clubs worldwide, with support from 2000f and notably featuring on hatcha & crazy ds kiss fm radio show, you re gunna love this one! legendary kraken artist jsl pops up on the flip with a brand new beat, kept relatively under wraps this one comes out of nowhere and smacks is straight round the chops like kimbo slice! act quickly on this one, it wont last.

aduly only 36 introduces yakine on a + b with a julien chaptal remix. drop it - a jackin, upbeat house cut with lots of bounce to the ounce. solid groovy swing, thick bassline, and some bboy vox stabs for some in yo face hits. nice and tracky, take it to for a lengthy mix in or out, its a pick up. stickney - punchy and tracky with a tight roll for a smooth, jazzier drop stickney is asking for a prime time spot in the set. splashed with a little chi filter, the bassline roll brings the kicker. hot track with smoldering style. julien chaptal remix has a pop-lockin house feel to it with its sliced and diced elements, this is a tight jam. sweet build for a stack full of speakers, could be dirty or classy, either or this tracks works a sweaty floor.

roughly translated, hasta el fin means >the very last number of the night<, appropriate when you consider this is gigolos final release of 2009. the a&r process at gigolo is a constant and very simple formula! if hell likes it, plays it and gets a good reaction from the crowd then it needs to come out on his record label! no other record fits the criteria more the >hasta el fin<. this is a record that featured heavily in hells festivals and club sets and was played at the end of every after-hour he found himself. but its beginning is a little less finite.
the genesis came late last year when oliver ton invited various musicians for a jamming session. in the spirit of some masterful moments in music oliver ton and production partner ronald christoph captured something unique sounding with a dance record built largely around a vocal, guitar and piano performance. it was immediately signed to berlin based white records and assigned the fitting cat. no. of white999!!!

1994, the internet is in its infancy, the channel tunnel opens, and ibiza is rocking to the sound of a little unknown track by the name of waterfall. roll forward to today and paul thomas & myke smith bring atlantic oceans ibiza classic bang up to date. while keeping the instantly recognisable arpeggio, chords, they give it some heavy drums, side chained bass and nu skool production to bring it screaming into 2009.

it was only a short time ago when these 2 young up and comers made their respective debuts on our label and in the few months between then and now, they have gone on to skyrocket up through the ranks, conquering dancefloors, charts and dj crates-while becoming household names synonymous with quality and consistency.
