the third shot in the young life of the bucketround label is a perfect strike oriented to different types of dancefloor. above smoke (deep explorer music) brings a creative and chameleonic tune which mixes different elements with dare. it begins broken, continues deep and ends in a complete funky orgy with a quirky 80s taste. the collection of remixes is simply brilliant. oval future face (bucketround recs) takes the elements of the original to offer the deeper remix of the ep. nacho marco (loudeast records, odori...) however transforms the keys of the compose in a 4x4 acid bomb! finally to close we got the funk part of the ep with barna sound machine. he breaks the breaks and hot the floor with his sexy rhythm...

pablo cahn is a talented producer hailing from and currently residing in bogota, colombia. “soul rain” is his third release on cadenza, and it comes with a massive remix by the spanish don paco osuna. the original mix of pablo is a long attractive dance floor tune textured by an overwhelming bass line and a deluge of vocal grains that shapes a large number of fills and break downs all over the track. as the journey go further, a complex twist of harmonies and resonances arise from the rhythmic grounds, shining over a blissful body of beats. paco osuna’s remix recap all the rhythmic elements and shrink the vocal drizzle maintaining their relevance to the building of the track. the bare inter-twin of its relentless bass line and its stinging hi-hats works out a magnificent outbreak of the dense original tissue of chords.

who are these guys behind the pseudonyms? good guy mikesh and filburt are two music lovers… full stop! two independent acts that met in leipzig and began to merge their musical creative capacities two years ago. a convolution of disco, pop and house, propagating one of leipzigs most promising collaborative developments. good guy mikesh has haunted leipzigs contemporary underground for a long time. from the beginning of his musical career, his singles have signified an eclectic mix of pop, soul and disco. filburt - dj, record store owner and leipzig club scene veteran, was consequently good guy mikeshs best possible accomplice in the mission to break fresh ground. this mixture of soul, disco and house-pop is it, charged by the duos certain something - an energy sought for not only in this town, but throughout the whole scene. someone told me, their latest single, has been causing an outbreak of contagious enthusiasm in the scene since its release on permanent vacation this summer. we are proud to release this fine ep, which comes with a remix by one of our uk favorites: mark e !
