jürgen karg’s career in music began in the 1960s as bass player for german jazz legend wolfgang dauner. it was not until the 1970’s that he switched his attention to electronic music, launching himself wholeheartedly into exploring the genre and building up an extensive collection of synthesizers over a five year period. his efforts culminated in “elektronische mythen”, a mighty opus of experimental music which reveals new aspects every time it is played. jürgen karg’s music is deeply serious, as vexing as a jamais vu, yet absolutely beautiful. “elektronische mythen” is an album which fits like a puzzle piece between the first and second soundtracks for a clockwork orange. it’s worth to check it out!

kickflip mike (joschka seibt) is back with ‘three turtles’ - a collaborative ep on tartelet records with berlin bass maestro julius conrad. while julius seems like a new addition to camp tartelet, he’s been in the extended family for years. the son of jazz bass legend jürgen attig and childhood homies with max graef & kickflip, he’s existed in the crew’s inner circle since day dot.

ltd summer 2016 deal.. its a really clever go lucky move that the never resting glückskind founders michael klang and jürgen kirsch got samuel knob on board. the valencia-based producer really knows how twist those knobs to come up with the craziest noises. his skills, honed during his residency times at barraca music and narita club, are perfectly put into use with this crafty release that should have people dancing on the roof tops--naked. samuel, a drummer who jumpstarted his musical career at the age of sixteen in a pop-rock band, is exploring the outer realms of percussive beats, incorporated in a tight yet not at all minimal sounding house construct. inspired by his father who is also a drummer and programmer, he does not hesitate to foray into unknown dimensions, making this eleventh glückskind release a very special piece of black gold

a labour of love and friendship, the camila ep contains two finely-worked originals. the slow, loping, scratchy jnd is a collaboration with close friend jürgen von krebs that brings to mind stl and theo parrish in its interlocking simplicity and off-key accents. ricky g. the fifth neurhythmics release is a compilation of befriended artists, and this is reflected by the different interpretations of the individuals to what the labels sound is about. juergen provides the a-side with >common sense< a vocal-snippet driven house-track, that once again underpins his sound-aesthetics of having it sound live and mixed on the fly, straight out of the machine. the flip-side could not start off any better. quite possibly a future classic, >signature< by mike binary, has soul and emotion literally squeezed in between each of the effortlessly programmed beats, and has become one the favourite tracks at the neurhythmics hq to ever been put on the label. last but not least, >no other< by the dirty soul project (you will know these guys, but we were sworn to secrecy) firmly pulls the hand brake and slows things down to just over 110 bpm. this doesnt mean that this very hypnotic number isnt going to work in the early morning slots…au contraire, actually...
