the b-side begins with >daubed beams<, a deephouse track all glitterbug. >daubed beams< feels like what mid 90s detroit techno released on warp would have sounded like: unbelievably deep, pensive, warm, divine and pumping.
c.sides latest emotive ep culminates with >be content<, a warm track with a deep drive of warped pads, a dark bass-line, airy percussion and unforgettable arpeggios. this exhilarating dance track is layered with bottomless emotions, the kind you want to close your eyes to, hug the person dancing next to you and wish it would never ever end.
the >dim flares ep< is the first in a series of 3 magnificently moving eps (by glitterbug, christian löffler, and a collaboration between glitterbug & ostgut ton s murat tepeli) to be released on the c.sides label in 2009-2010, all leading up to glitterbugs extraordinary next double album which is currently in the making and will be released in spring 2010.

releasing >jeffer< as the first single is quite unsual regarding other power tracks that feature robot voices but who cares really anyway? berlin buddies modeselektor made their version of >jeffer< and themself say it sounds like the good days of audion when he is not so minimal - and they make it to the point. mdslktrs remix is a full on techno mix but playable for house or new rave djs as well. it extends every genres bouderies and presents a sound that everybody can meet at. on the flip you get para ones epic version which shows that he is still top of his game. after his classic remix for boys noize >my head< he answers >jeffer< with this banger. para one is pushing the good feeling of the original track to another level by adding new melodies and an epic breakdown in the middle of his mix. 2 killer remixes!

this is the second album by sven schienhammer aka quantec on echocord. after releasing several 12 inch on labels like styrax leaves, meanwhile, snapshot and echocord sven is back with another fulllenght album. this album contains older tracks from the year 2001 and some of his newer works from 2009. on this album you will hear many of svens personal favourite tracks and echocord are really proud to release it. its not really the typical quantec sound, its absolutely different to his last album on echocord, some of the tracks with vocals, but you can still hear the quality quantec sound.

after his outstanding album debut christian naujoks is back withthe first of a 12 inch trilogy to be released on dial records. adoring the sound of pitched down pre-recorded strings dressed in deep, dub-styled echoes, east end boys is a song dedicated to to the raw and powerful sublimity of physical sounds. the song was created while naujoks was working on a live set for the akustic saloon at legendary berlin based berghain club in april 2009. overwhelmed by his flatmates live performance, lawrence decided to produce a remix of his favorite christian naujoks tune >bloom<, which appears on the flipside.
