were so excited to be the guys that get to deliver you this guys debut release. luca murgia has a sound all his own he really like tom toms, he likes spacey flourishes, and overall he likes to deliver tracks with mobile electroy grooves married to the stability of house. the thing that really makes him special to us is the naturalness of feeling he achieves in his productions he has a neatness to his grooves everything lines up so the body can move freely and the dancer be in a state of flow. all four tracks on this ep have real singularity of intent in their sounds and rhythms but vary dramatically in intensity.

toxic is the name of the first lamp, in a series of more to come, on the cover made by remy the feyter � glass blower artist. the tracks are composed by dieter vorderhake and are a natural inspiration of 20 years of techno influence. liroconite and cornubite are natural stones with the same colors as the lamp, hence the names of the tracks. tingeling, the name of the third track, is a dutch word which will translate itself more or less into a ding-dong sound. this sound is one of the prominent sounds in the track which announces a change in the track. it is inspired on the sound the metro doors make in amsterdam when they close. the metro is ready to continue its journey� so is the song.

polluted system is a track suitable for the main room, the energy of the kick and the bass leave no respite from start to finish as a joint of metal percussion and synths fit gradually to fill the sound spectrum of this track. becomes human machine in a few minutes, using acid and industrial sounds, conveys the idea of the change that is happening around us: people are becoming more and more machines, and this is the soundtrack of the mutation. unlocked human, while remaining in acid and mechanical territories, thanks to a groove of more organic toms and hi hat still let the human element glimpse, not yet deleted by the machines, all accompanied by a relentless kick which makes it a perfect tool from the dancefloor . no system, which give the title to the ep, ends this sequence with dreamy and futuristic atmospheres, the ruling part is still a simple but instantly recognizable acid bass, over breakbeat-oriented rhythmics.

the third release from wavefreform again comes to us from the east, and this time around it marks a reformation of sound for both the label and the artist. half of the long-running georgian duo greenbeam & leon, boyd schidt is a producer with over a decade of work already under his belt whose first releases emerged in 2007. as a solo artist, his career dates to 2010 with digital releases on georgia�s front rec, fvf records, and emote music, and a track on the new vinyl compilation from studio r°. with the hard, broken kick pattern, elevated tempo, and nods to electro, the a-side �phantom�, a collaboration with subex, is a change of pace for the artist and the hardest thing yet to emerge from wavereform. dubwise use of effects shows the same hands still at work, but the sound elements, granulated blasts of static and drop-based structure of the track hold strong parallels to the rejuvenated techno sound currently emerging from the uk. the b-side, �structure�, recalls the previous work of the artist: subtle, building dub techno rich in detail and with the dancefloor firmly in mind. there is clear experience at work here with his deliberate deployment and manipulation of elements as the track struts along while enveloping the listener in its smaller details. as it pauses and takes an extended breakdown, the details rush forwards, but it finds renewed force to power itself to the close. coming in this case from an established producer with a long history, this kind of control is not surprising, but it is more indication of the riches of the east that have yet to be discovered by audiences worldwide.

365 million years ago a meteorite crashed with tremendous force in the middle of a land mass that much later would be called sweden, creating one of her largest lakes. the area around this lake, siljan, has always been an epicenter of swedish folklore, with many tales of beautiful but dangerous creatures of the ancient forests and deep vales. perhaps, then, it s no coincidence that the skies over siljan later became the focus of unexplainable sightings, or that small societies appeared, claiming strong indications of extraterrestrial activities on the bottom of the lake itself. the tales may change over time, but the mysterious lake remains the same. and now the time has come for a new tale from siljan. producer colleagues hans berg and johanna knutsson have spent long periods of time in a studio by this lake. feeling a bit like aliens themselves with their blinking and bleeping music machines, the label name ufo station recordings came naturally. little raver ep is the first release, and throughout the three tracks you can clearly sense the contrast between the scenic landscape and sounds inspired by space and alien technology: shimmering ethereal melodies over classic, very fulfilling drum machines. the melancholic singing of space whales over deep and bubbly analog basses. the little raver ep is a house music ufo destined to arouse wonder and astonishment on any dance floor.
