following on from her stellar addition to monki’s & friends label - polish producer vonda7 continues her steady ascent and inaugurates a brand new project: art | werk with 4 deeply personal yet effective tracks.
the principle behind art | werk is to allow space for movement towards the left, to allow for full creative control and to provide a platform for the listener as well as the dancer with tracks that lend themselves as well to headphones as they do to the floor.
staying true to this, vonda7’s “pure intentions” ep is a genre-hopping collection that is hard to pin down as it spans breaks, techno and alternative pop whilst remaining suffused with a delicate balance of allaying melody and power.

music is feeling, music is meetings. in 2015, the s3a records 04 was released with collaborations of good friends of s3amet in the world by the music (tito wun, mannmademusic). this sampler continue the story with tracks from people s3a met during gigs and travels in the past year: sweely delivers here great speedy long jazz banger with a great voice sample as a theme. the columbian felipe gordon gives a great stompy funk bass track! on the b side, the french g2s drops a beautiful house sample based -graef like- song. for the last track need a little bit of story. in 2016 s3a released an ep called 3711 on soundofspeed records in japan. the track -bush- taken from this ep has been remixed during a contest in early 2018. 42 remixes were done and the winner has is remix edited here. pnom pen gives us here his 80 s electro version of the track adding great pads and a complete different rhythm and grooves!

mark archer aka dj nex returns to music mondays for a limited edition, bespoke, shrink wrapped, collector’s item, triple pack vinyl album of his legendry dj nex ep’s.
originally released in 1992 and 1993 the nex ep and poundstretcher ep have become incredibly sought after on vinyl. however, the poundstretcher ep was always cut too low with 4 tracks aside. we are now taking both ep’s and remastering them to 3 loud pieces of vinyl.
the sleeve will be a specially designed piece of art just for this project, while the label on the 3 records will represent the original releases, keeping that authentic dj nex vibe!

art alfie joined the toy tonics crew ! you know him from studio barnhus. he released his album last on axel bomans label last year and a couple of hot tracks with longtime partner mr. tophat before that. his first ep for toy tonics features 3 of the sweetest bangers he did till now. what a wonderful vibe! and the remix … killer. by stockholms amazing newcomers mount liberation unlimited (who just released an ep on permanent vacation). art alfie is busy these days: besides his involvement with toy tonics he started a own label (velvet pony). even if you might know him mainly from the kick-ass dancefloor stuff he has been doing with karlovak and the studio barnhus gang - there is some more complex background here: alfie used to play in hardcore and psychedelic bands and has a real golden hand when it comes to work with musicians. in fact currently he is also producing some stuff for swedish supergroup/hotshot band ‚off the meds‘! yes, stay tuned! art alfie is coming on strong ?? in 2019!

following in this theme is fancy – -null null-. not to be confused with the famous euro-disco artist behind -slice me nice-, this fancy is a one-off project from italo-disco icon raffaele fiume, the artist and voice behind many great italo-disco hits, such as: helicon – -you ... see-, malcom & the bad girls – -shoot me- and ralph river band – -strange vibration-.

adding to the original tracks of the 1982 release is a totally ecstatic and powerful remix from betonkust: one of the most talented and exciting dutch producers of recent years. also included is an instrumental edit from hysteric, for those who find the unique vocals challenging.

mr. eagles & butterflies got no others than mano le tough and solomun to remix his memorable last dance. furthermore, these two mixes come on a very specially designed colored vinyl.

multi-talent joyce muniz is definitely one to look out for. initially starting her career as a vocalist, she now took over the global house music scene within no time as a deejay and producer as well. exhibiting her talent with previous releases, its not surprising that shes on the roster of prestigous labels such as exploited records and 20/20 vision recordings. next year she will release her single toxic people on international deejay gigolo records featuring the singer, songwriter and producer demetr1us. toxic people is a vibrant and raw sounding electro house cut featuring grimy synths and vocals, that lend the track a cold and distant atmosphere. the artwork for toxic people was created by leipzig-based artist silvia trost, whose forth lies in oil and acrylic paintings. she now frequently collaborates with glitch art artists and loves to mix materials and techniques, both analogue and digital. the b-side dreamz is another great production by joyce muniz. the playful groove and eclectic ambient makes it a cool package.

entering the dirty art club is like letting an encyclopedic sample curator soundtrack a vibrant psychedelic cartoon dream. conceived in north carolina, fragments of sun-kissed soul and dusty psyche-rock sounds are stitched together and intertwined with live instrumentation recorded in a home studio setup to convey a woozy and soulful experience.

melchior sultana has not been short of labels to release on over the past few years, from deepartsounds and three fingers musique to minuendo and 12records, but here he can be found inaugurating the profound sound label with some of his trademark deep house tones. -feel this- is a shimmering, nocturnal groover with mystery to match its subtle funkiness, while the live edit of -give it to the moon- has an easier vibe about it with its lingering, warm pads and breezy swing. -treasures- shakes things up with a jazz funk twist, letting effervescent instrumentation flirt around the crooked house beat with stunning results and then the slow, sensual original version of -give it to the moon- cradles the remaining run time of the ep in a downtempo haze of easy beats and stirring vocals.
