the success experienced by spanish artists oscar mulero, christian wunsch, reeko and exium are proof that the fittest survive the test of time, and their unexpected collaboration >seleccion natural< will establish a new milestone in the evolution of techno. oscar mulero, christian wunsch, reeko and exium embark on a new project called >seleccion natural< that joins the ingenuity of each artist in a collection of four releases, each one from a label of one the four artists. specifically, warm up, tsunami, mental disorder and nheoma respetively the labels directed by mulero, wunsch, reeko and exium will launch an ep with an original track composed by the label owner plus a remix from each of the other three artists. although they have previously collaborated on other releases, this is the first time all four will appear together on the same ep

theomatic celebrates its 10th release with an-2’s epic ‘viajero’. spanish for ‘voyager’, ‘viajero’ is a dedication to all travellers and the spirit of travel. it’s about the fact that every traveller searching for better place on earth every time ends up with the same - meets himself. the track is a result of a long work, waves that you hear in the background is pacific ocean recorded at machalilla national park in ecuador while guitar was recorded in izhevsk, russia - an-2’s hometown, it’s performed by ramil vafin, keen guitarist, guitar maker and big friend of an-2, finally it all found it’s way together in an-2’s st.petersburg studio. the remix comes courtesy of the ever excellent duo acos coolkas

winter here and cold sounds also, this time warm up engine s drivers are grovskopa and agony forces, joined in remix duties by label s boss oscar mulero. grovskopa ignites the flame on b side with jauhar, and industrialized piece of dark techno with an analogue bassline as a starring ,resting on top of an abstract and metallic beat, salted with hypnotic vocal samples and atmospheres. a peak time weapon for the hard ones. closing b side oramics by agony forces investigate in the same field, nearly industrial beats, crunchy and dark, sinewave sequences, fat bassdrums and again an hypnotic and lisergic feel. as the the track goes on, pads and synth atmos do the job adding a mellow edge to the dark side. alone on a side, oscar mulero s rework of jauhar is pure floor action, substracting atmospheres and focusing on rythms and beats. giving a straight ahead approach to the original. electronic body music for the 21st century.
