cardiff massive giovanni branciamore and bradley albertides heard nicoles amazing sultry folky tones on the flowers of flesh & blood album and just had to work up some nip and bop to sit with her voice. nicole loved it and this is it! we are not too sure what to label this music under but tags of future nip hop ambient folk bop seem to be close. sarah burgess is a secret forest folky vocalist from york with a super soft ambient tone to her voice which was crying out for a touch of flyypost nip. luv*jams ambient alter ego flyypost slides out some wobbled out bass lines, floaty synths and a 68bpm raw kick drum all gliding on a bed of waves with sarahs stunning memories vocal. what style of music do we label this as? neo italo nip folk acid whop?

busted speaker brew is the second installation by the afternoon coffee boys on clink recordings. this new minimal rocker walks the fine line between minimal and techno with acb’s signature drum programming and short decay instrumentation. the afternoon coffee boys, aka tim xavier and tony rohr, released their debut collaborative release on clink001 last year with one of the bigger eps of 2005: dark blend. their follow-up ep on cocoon, >glitches brew<, was released at the beginning of this year and was a huge success. their music has been praised by top artists such as adam beyer, richie hawtin, sven väth and marco carola, and they show promise as one of the new leading duos of 2006. this ep is an excellent release as acb continues to push the minimal edge with their techno influences by keeping the tracks rhythmic and driving while maintaining the slow, deep and funky pace that djs are currently pursuing in their sets

(deleted )- a dark and monumental piece of music, using simple but effective sound patterns, repeating them by adding nice delays and other smart fx, step by step slowly building it up in tremendously hypnotic fashion. striking indeed! on the flip side it s dusseldorf s loco dice, resident dj at ibiza s hippest dc10, a true global player, known and loved for his releases on timo maas label four twenty, josh wink s ovum, sven väth s cocoon and richie hawtin s minus. what a list...! but back to the music. his remix of -1000 miles- is less dark, more funky, smartly playing around with some short soundtips, gliding softly towards a quiet break, before evolving to full power, step !by step. the groove is the key! our tip: this 12inch will definitely be a guiding light for this year s summer, especially on the magic island of ibiza
