bosconi is back with his third release featuring the naughty quitèfrut guys, label boss fabio della torre and his parisian-berliner mate mattako. the orginal tracks are the spontaneous results of two afterhourmakingmusic studio sessions and what came out are two proper minimal kickass bass throbbers, dry but fat dj-tool house that take inspiration from daniel bell, baby ford, zip and mike ink works. the production is concentrated on the use of analogue instruments that give the tracks a deep and warm feeling with an oldskool vibe. ?absoluca? is a trippy and hypnotic blend of tight and intricate grooves enriched by subliminal cinematic samples, tropical atmospheres and sinister male voices. special guest on bosconi this time are robsoul boss phil weeks and didier allyne under their p&d guise who drop out a very effective dance mania style remix of absoluca, a dancefloor smasher tool that goes straight to the point, strongs 909 kicks and aggressive hi hats those take you back to the chicago warehouse party time, and we think ron hardy wont have disappointed this at all !! last track called at some point? is a deep driving techno track that open your senses, the groove is detroity and the sounds of synths draw into your brain and don?t let go. open your mind to the sounds of nature!!

uk born, japanese based max essa delivers us a tasty morsel and appetizer for his upcoming album on bearfunk. drive time is a slice of trademark slick, slo mo disco. with live drums, rolling bass synths and sundrenched chord changes, the track conjures up visions of sunsets, surfboards, highway 101 and long lazy days. irish based john daly delivers his re rub on the flip, adding in chunky stabs and rolling synth lines... but still managing to retain the slo mo feel.

after a 2 and a half year wait i finally managed to knock out a new single. its actually only my 3rd solo single ever. im very happy with it but ive got mixed feelings trying to describe it. you spend a year working on a track and a lazy shop worker or journalist will lump you into the >cosmicbalearicspacewhatever< straightjacket in 2 seconds, i can at least resist to do the same… anyway, two are quite psychedelic and one is some kind of cover version of one of my favourite villalobos trax. as you can hear ive had loads of fun fooling around in the studio playing the bass, percussion, drums(badly) and synths(even worse…)…
