After the inclusion of Crushed by Actress on the most recent Prime Numbers EP, we return with three tracks from one of our favourite contemporary producers. Ghosts Have A Heaven is a heavily stripped down, minimally constructed piece built on a heavyweight kick drum whilst given movement and accentuated by filtered synth washes and sub bass which change subtly throughout the track. Side 2 is taken by two tracks from the Actress debut full length release on his own Werk Discs. Hazyville is a twisted piece of electro funk expertly compressed and crackling with static energy. Superb locking & popping lace the track sounding something like the avant gardism of Subway Theme from the Wild Style O.S.T pushed confidently into 2009. ext up Redit 124 provides a deep clipped jackin groove with a glitchy feel. The beats are worked & moulded along with fizzing synths and jerky keys to produce a quality hybrid of sounds with its own idiosyncratic style firmly in place.
