this is an official reissue of what am i gonna do for fun by the band pitch (1982 - new york city). this release also includes a fantastic remix or rework by tolouse low trax (toresch, salon des amateurs, düsseldorf). a few words from stuart shape, the producer: feels like it was done by another person. i remember getting the serge synthetiser to stay in tune was always a problem. we were fascinated with the new sampling that were just coming out, and kind of got carried away on the vocals. not sure what i was thinking about with the lyrics, guess maybe trying to figure out what i was supposed to be doing when i wasnt working or playing music unfortunately no other finished tracks from that era have survived. they recorded a lot, but finished and saved very little.

one sided vinyl with silkscreened b side, comes in clear sleeve with poster numbered, edition of 350 dreams really come true: when we heard tomemitsu s beautiful lo-fi indie songs on the cassette -m_o_d_e_s- back in 2013 we fell in love! especially the track -in dreams- followed us around for months. humming it in the subway, singing along in the car. many dreams later we found out that our friend and fellow hamburger stefan marx also loves the song and even named an art show after it. coincidence? surely not, so together we made the plan to release -in dreams- on vinyl. luckily tomemitsu himself was very happy with the idea and even allowed rss disco to remix the song. the notorious dj and production trio upped the tempo to head-spinning 99bpm, recorded additional drums & bass and added several minutes of pleasure. finally, the two tracks will be released on vinyl for the first time. screen-printed records, including a poster in a clear sleeve. music by tomemitsu, designed by stefan marx, remixed by rss disco, released by mireia records. it s all a dream!

among all the aliases used by the great piero umiliani, m. zalla is perhaps his most rich and surprisingly multifarious: mainly used to produce experimental records that had little commercial appeal, this ‘nom de plume’ (along with moggi) is tied to memorable episodes of his career, releases such as “problemi d’oggi” (literally “today’s problems”), “mondo inquieto” (i.e. “an unsettling world”), and also “suspense”, now reissued by schema records. the vinyl release includes a cd-copy of the album.
