the new kill a beat is coming straight from berlin! it s a split ep by the friends alex sander and lars wickinger. alex sander is well known by his label killabeat and last release on session deluxe with rekardo rivalo. he was living some years in sao paulo. there he worked as booking agent for intergroove. this time gave him a lot of influences for his music. his style is a hot mix of minimal electro and techhouse. now alex presents 1 track (nuit) for kill a beat. nuit is a very warm and soulful funky tech-house tune. you can really feel the spirit of south america in this track. nuit is rollin very percussive and groovy with some vocal snippets and typical south american folk elements. the second one is made by lars wickinger. after his releases on tanzbar and kachelfunk, he finally is back with funky buthole on kill a beat ! on the b-side is an amazing remix by andy kohlmann (lordag / extrasmart). his style is a little bit deeper and more minimalistic. this track is perfect for the current techhouse sound all around the world. the whole ep is definitely hot, and will bring the summer back to your hearts, during the cold fall months.

played by nick curly, kreon, dubfire, veitengruber, hernan cattaneo...helmut dubnitzky klingt wie sein name schon verrät. mit viel dub im gebälk, dennoch den peak nie aus den augen lassend. my sweet peewee heißt die erste solo-ep auf seinem eigenen label, welche neben dem gleichnamigen track noch einen weiteren track (eeoh) beinhaltet. beide entpuppen sich als absolute waffen auf dem dancefloor, obwohl sie zu keinem zeitpunkt zu offensichtlich daherkommen. subtil bohren sie sich in den gehoerkanal, schrauben sich nach und nach zu einem dichten klangwerk zusammen, bis auch das letzte tanzbein nicht mehr widerstehen kann. alex niggemann (8bit / supernature) steuert ausserdem eine wahre remix-bombe hinzu, die diese fantastische ep gaenzlich abrundet

austrian musican martin brunner aka madney moon scores with two refreshing tracks. with a wonderful catchy melody, the first track >is it hot< sounds quite imposing. patrick kunkel (coccon recordings) does a very nice remix and straightens the framework. the second original mix >is it what< is a powerful contemporary techno track with a dark concise vocal. its therefore no wonder that rocco caine does his typical deep interpretation of that track. the remix sounds monstrous and gives your spoilt feet all they want and love on the techfloor.
