2012 sees detroit label, kms records, celebrating its 25th anniversary. founded in 1987, by kevin maurice saunderson, his first release was triangle of love produced by, kreem, (just one of his many guises), little did saunderson know, at that time, that two and a half decades later, he would still be releasing music on his kms label.

as ajello say:the idea for a cover version of n.o.i.a.s looking for love was born a couple of years ago - an idea of alessandro piatto, younger brother of davide piatto, original member of n.o.i.a. as soon as alessandro proposed it,we asked whether we could have the original tracks but, unfortunately,they have been lost over the years.immediately his brother davide brought together the original lineup of n.o.i.a.and locked them up in the studio to record the voice from scratch and some of the synth parts. our intervention was first on the drums, replacing the original for a more uptempo beat, and then the bassline, shaping it to a more modern sound. the vocals were treated with filters and echoes,and we also added some new guitar parts and synth lines. it was an honour to us, ajello, to bring to light an italo-disco classic that has really influenced us and we have put all our efforts to create a version that is timeless, as much as the original.

the restless berliners are back to bring some sun back to the dancefloors. fargo is a real open air hymn which you can only love or hate. an oldschool organ bassline on a minimal house beat topped with strings and disco vocals. this must be a hit. save yourself i a little bit darker but also a pretty strong track with a piano hook that you wont get out of your head too soon. the b side takes it back a notch with the more laid back tracks now youre gone and the fargo remix from the young and talented mass digital from serbia. thats proper deep house here on keno records.

aubrey is one of uks early 90s techno pioneers that made music still relevant today. on this contact funk 2012 ep lifeworld introduces you to 4 of his classic and rare tracks remastered. vortex two is a straight forward techno trip with minimalistic 909 programming and deep mesmerizing sounds. with reflection aubrey brings things in more playful territory. the deep driving bassline, jumpy melody line and dito percusion provide for an insane dance floor bomb. on the flip we have a melodic club banger in contact funk and a deep techno tune called ultra de ja vu. beautiful dark blue marbled vinyl. highly recommended!

diynamics new member duo hunter/game suprise with their first diynamic release. the two young boys from italy, emmanuele nicosia and martino bertola, bringing a really nice groove with them! its exactly the sound, diynamic stands for: deep basslines combined with groovy, harmonic vocals add up to the newest diynamic ep reckless lady. on their first visit to diynamics residency club, the ego in hamburg, hunter/game gave a first impression of the love and enthusiasm they have for their music. the first track >under< opens with a clear message: these boys really know what they are doing! driving hi-hats, a pumping, deep bassline and smooth vocals are giving this track a pretty nice groove. the second track on the ep boogie music sets apart from the other tracks. this cooperation with freakme is getting really funky! a beautiful vocal part, that is developing its full power in the first breake will make you move! with reckless lady, the third track on the ep, hunter/game made a perfect club tune. its again the nice combination of an accented, deep bassline, a repeating, catchy vocal and powering percussions that makes this track so nice. the ep ends with crazy enough, a melodic tune with epic vocals! all in all hunter/game proved their feeling for the special deep house sound, diynamic stands for and produced a great first ep.
