cybordelics was founded in 1993 in stuttgart, germany. in the same year, mike s., milan zemanec and daniel varga aka cybordelics released their hit adventures of dama on sven väth’s label harthouse. the record climbed up the uk dance charts to the 2nd place. people from london to germany, especially in the legendary omen club in frankfurt, danced to their techno anthems until the late afternoon. today’s artists like ricardo villalobos, sven väth, gregor tresher, chris liebing, gerd janson or anthony rother were at the omen club when this record was played for the first time, and they still consider adventures of dama a milestone in techno history. 23 years later, the new harthouse label begins 2016 with a remix ep, featuring remixes by ricardo villalobos, butch, tuff city kids, starting a new era of the harthouse story.

florian meindl kick starts 2017 with a special four-track vinyl only release ‘colorful cage’. released on his own imprint flash recordings, the title track is taken from his forthcoming album ‘time illusion’. there is an exclusive vinyl edit of florian’s previously released foreboding techno track ‘nix charon’ and completing the ep are two further unique tracks ‘controlled pressure’ and ‘wild sequence 3’. as a dj, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, florian has over the years established an impressive producing base for himself in his berlin based riverside studio complex with an exciting hardware set up including modular systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic machines like roland 909. in anticipation for the lp release in early april, florian has prepared a unique live set featuring a modular system, the korg minilogue, effect boxes and a 909 drum machine which were used in the creation of the album which he will be touring throughout 2017.

zweieinhalb jahre nach rhondas debütalbum -raw love- erscheint am 27.01.2017 der nachfolger -wire- auf pias germany. das quintett hat seine mischung aus groovigen beats, lässigem soul mit sixties-vibe und perlenden melodien verfeinert, die punk-wurzeln aber keinesfalls vergessen. so klingt -wire- dann auch teils cineastisch und deutlich düsterer als der vorgänger, was nicht zuletzt an der beteiligung des deutschen filmorchesters babelsberg bei einigen songs liegt! die zusammenarbeit begann im november letzten jahres, als rhonda ein angebot bekam, mit dem filmorchester ein konzert in potsdam zu spielen, welches prompt ausverkauft war! schon dort probierte man einige der neuen songs aus, und es wurde allen klar, diese stücke sollten genau in dieser besetzung für das neue album eingespielt werden.
