andras toth is not a nu-school producer. please refrain from adding up-and-coming to his biography. he has arrived. with his second full solo-ep on alphahouse records, he presents a varied and captivating look into the mind of an accomplished musician. following the success of his previous works on the label, his debut >us< and the collaborative ep >futures< with boss-man butane, >would u?< is a trip through improvisational jazz, open-air sunrises, and sonic after-hours explorations. herein lies real music, nothing formulaic, nothing safe. the ep embodies an ethos, held by alphahouse, that musicianship is about originality, not following trends. there is still much that remains good in the world of independent electronic dance music. we will continue to search for, and find it.

zopelar is one of our dearest local prodigies. hailing from a small-town at the heart of brasil and devoting his life to music from an early age, his love for this artform grew stronger as he explored the myriad layers that sedimented into today s pop. further developments led him to a classical training in the craft and the result is a burgeoning trajectory to which this ep is a crucial moment. one marked by the inflection on his approach, until then heavily influenced synth pop and post punk to the epiphany that followed his discovery of electronic dance music. a discovery that is translated to perfection, both conceptually and emotionally, by the title track of this ep, >falling in love<.

it seems that dance music is an everlasting quest for new and fresh hybrids. dimitri batsis aka dans mon salon, introduces a work which will be loved by music enthusiasts and djs alike on the upcoming amplify label. his attempt to renovate all rave feelings of the early 90s is obvious while keeping it fresh and contemporary.

rivet puts a lot of effort in his sounds and his production. this is not another copycat. first out on the ep >amid the roar< is >metrist<, a sexy march that blends the stiffness 80-ties disco with techno from the future. on the b-side marcel fengler takes his turn on >metrist<. he keeps the string of the original, chops up the bass and creates a dancefloor monster with a big anthem alert stamp on it. amid the roar ends with what might be the strongest track on the ep. this ep will make us dance, of course, as always, with a bit of a kontra-musik twist.

itongo is batongos alias for disco editing, less obscure, more groovy. not much is to be known about batongo, previously an active euro dance producer who released a bunch of hits in the nineties. 10 years ago, after a traumatic experience he escaped in perù and retired from the music business, during this years, on his spare time he made a lot of music, not meant for the public, just for himself. now he is still in perù, not willing to move back to europe but barely broke, he sold us the rights on his entire collection of unreleased recordings with condition of not revealing his real identity. we will unveil a series of eps ranging from obscure deep to psychedelic disco.

since we met ark in spain a while ago. after being around since 1997, we were curious what he would do for a small label like klamauk. well, we are happy that we ve got one we really love for its moods. his track >fat runner< is a deep growing house track with arks typical kind of breaks, getting faster and faster, ending in a true dance monster. welcome to the klamauk family
