surely one of the finest operators in the uk underground, miles atmospheric released his last album under his own name miles sagnia back in 2014, and now he finally returns to the long player format to unfurl his vision of deep, driving techno. this time he s appearing on finale sessions, and it s the perfect home for his thoughtfully sculpted cuts. there are more outwardly mellow moments such as mensura, and the utterly gorgeous-peace but there is also plenty of space afforded to the sharper end of his creative transmissions. elysium is a dense, rippling throwdown that touches on many different aspects of contemporary house and techno, while rise offers up a refreshing variation on the acid house template. once again, miles atmospheric demonstrates why he s such a vital, if sometimes overlooked, force in the uk underground
finale sessions is proud to annouce a new member to the record label tolga fidan. he is really big with the romanians right now and we at finale sessions are big on his production and we bring this 4 track heater to let you know he does not fool around
finale sessions launch a new series entitled unreleased, and their kicking things off with label boss michael zucker sparring with jonno & tommo (more commonly found lurking around labels like ornate). as you would expect from finale, its a deep house masterclass, with jonno & tommo leading the proceedings with the deft piano licks and hard grooving sub bass of dirty nylons before zucker steps in with the pattering rhythms and swooning pads of just believe. on the flip zucker embraces a gentle strain of electro for narrow is the gate before jonno & tommo round the record off with the immersive tones of shark city.
finale sessions is proud to release another fantastic producer from tennesee and it is not country music saint thomas ledoux lays down with complete change of directions with his ambient sounds. really looking forward to sharing with you

we are excited to bring to you a new friend to the finale sessions family and he is part of the rising cast of producers from the new york underground . this record is just letting you know that it is still the hub for top notch talent in the united states. jordan is a special producer bringing a vibe like no other with his mix of house and techno attributes .1) night mask is a nasty raw down to the ground dance track with sub like kicks and percussions and its flawless arching synth give this track its basis to move like no other.2) division point - this track is the basis for the ep and we understand we jordan is going with this one for sure . division point is part deep and raw and it gives the ep its depth that it needs to transpire on different dance floors everywhere with its floating pads and it deep drums . flawless work i must say.3) return is the track i dig the most on this jordan release! it has that peek time feel to it with its techno undertones and its great drum programming which really sets this track apart from all other and we can t forget the super sub underneath all the other attributes
we at finale sessions are proud to have hungarian all inn records boss pola bless us with an ep! as you know we never go in one separate direction with finale sessions and we dig super deep on this one! we start with the track fallen idol which is my favorite of the three with its really nice percussions and it s streaming efx we cannot forget the bassline that takes it over the edge. track two winds of vengeance a very latnight track with moving synth s and very eclectic pads which gives it that dance floor appeal. last but not least we have reunion which has a real funk sound to it and it still has that punchy sound for those late night peeps who like that chicago sound and it also has added vocal witch keeps the music flowing. thank you from finale sessions with love

it s not often that you get to see alan oldham stepping out under his own name. the legendary detroit artist is more commonly spotted as dj t-1000 (or designing iconic artwork for techno labels) but this time around he s sharing some more house-minded delights for finale sessions. -don t take me- is a haunting, mystical slice of deep house that fits into the finale narrative perfectly, while -wild- too offers up a distinctive approach that manages to be both refined and yet imbued with that detroit roughness. -breathe- may well be the best jam on the record, dealing in subtle threads of melody that conjure up the perfect dubby 4/4 confection.
FINALE SESSIONS SELECT VOL. 1 (TRANSPARENT 10 INCH)
10" Vinyl, transparent UK27.10.15
2015 repress , finale sessions presents a new series of releases from the vault on 10inch format. this first release pairs two bonafide legends in the shape of fred p and kai alce, both known for their incredibly accomplished takes on house. fred ps ram is a deep excursion into pulsing chords and delicate atmosphere, while kai alces >scene 1< is a raw, acidic affair for peak time sets - both are essential cuts.
last time round for finale, it was label boss michael zucker offering some rare insight into his prowess behind the buttons. here zucker adopts the more familiar curatorial role, easing the finale focus towards the new generation of parisian artists prospering in the french capital. ka one & st sene oversee the prospering flyance records and arrive on finale with the french connection 12inch after a recent turn out on london s ornate music. the four tracks suggest ka one & st sene are developing into a truly diverse production unit, with the crisp motor city utopia of smokin joint a particular highlight.
finale select series is back to bring you one more from one of chicago s finest producer boo williams and finale sessions boss michael zucker and we start with boo williams song - reckless thought - with its magical keys and it thick pads it has chicage written all over it for sure and then last but not least we have michael zucker with his track good times- it has a jazz feel to it with it moving drums and its wicked bassline. this ep will sure to please the deep at heart.
considering the combined talents of detroit veteran terrence dixon and black jazz consortium man fred p, you d expect this split ep for finale sessions to be a lesson in warm, soul-flecked depth. pleasingly, that s exactly what it delivers. dixon excels with the sub-sporting alien futurism of -to the bridge- - the aural equivalent of staring into space while dancing to electronic jazz - and the sumptuous, minor key bliss of the casual deep house jam -starting over-. fred p, meanwhile, delivers two contrasting cuts. there s some acid-fuelled deep house futurism in the shape of -circuit-, and a chunk of bongo-laden dancefloor humidity in -the road-, whose rising strings and sweet melodies are arguably the highlight of a superb ep.
luke hess shows his detroit roots with his dub tech pasted synths & flowing pads. chicago mastermind steven tang puts it together with beautiful drum programming & freeform synths. xdb takes a turn to the deeper side of things with bass line & prototype drums.
volume 1 of finale sessions new alias series featuring 2 pseudononymous deep house producers, 1 from detroit & 1 from queens. fp197 drops a 2am bass heavy dream while rechord delivers an atmospheric building block.
an italian based dj & producer & current man-of-the-moment, who is deeply in love with his old synths & drum machines. releases on aesthetic audio, skylax, l.i.e.s., balance, mathmatics, echovolt, thug, traveller, on the prowl, have him all set up.
amir has been making a big stir with his vanguard sound label & hakim is part of the next generation chicago heavy hitters. they gift us 2 tracks each, that are sure to open many peoples ears, as they go deep, deep, into sound.
compiles 2 of freds finest tracks from out of print finale releases, >emotive vibrations< from finale sessions vol 1, & >dawn< from finale select vol 1. essential moody deep house from a crucial producer. stamped white label.
miles sagnia gets into some acid business, carlos nilmmns aka ross mcmillan drops some lush deep house, opolopo gives up analog madness with killer drums, shane linehan remixes dave pezzners >waking up then going back to sleep<.
new to the finale family vincenzo a veteran to the dance music industry he has been a mainstay on dessous, liebe detail, to name a few and here he delivers >you remind me<, detained for the record bags for sure with its deep vibe and its lush programming: ersatile for any dance floor. stuart li aka basic soul unit is also new to finale and here he delivers a floor filler called >depthcharge<, with its deep chords and stabbing synths then a hint of acid and what we have is the ingredients to a peak time masterpiece. last but not least we have mr. joey anderson part of new school deep house masters of new york from the same crew as fred.p, levon vincent, qu, and also part of the underground quality crew run by jus ed. >trapped in motion< brings an underground sound that few can really get across properly. the drums are what gives this track the ammo it needs to provide proper deepness and structure to the dance floor.
volta is one of the most sought after producers in russia. one of the newest members to the balance music groups family and he brings versatility like no other producer out there. his productions go in every direction from cosmic disco to deep techno. he is also known as isaev and his other alias common people under the bal-ance alliance anchor. this young producer has set the course for the next generation of future producers. not only is he a producer but his live sets are second to none, and we are glad to have him in the family. the first song is empire times which is a throwback to the early nineties classic new york signature four on the floor sound with fuel injected synths and a great dance floor peak time get down groove. the second song is curious dreams this song has so many different elements, it is by far one of my favorites of the ep, it has an 80‟,,,s sound that crosses many different genres of music from disco to classic electro with a splash of house. the third song is called purple train another fantastic take on his production skills with this massive deep techno heater that will get the crowd moving with its deep chords and its lush drum programming makes it dance floor friendly for sure..then last but not least we have song four called ruby nights this song brings a minimal broken beat sound that has the elements of house with a twist. we at fi-nale are happy to have volta cab as a member and we want to share his gifts with you. we would like to thank you for your loving support. stay true to the roots. love you
