following the success of the consumer ep by fellow label owner james johnston comes the praise ep by alex agore, and its a true return to form for him on no matter what. the record opens with the title track >praise< - an inspired tribute to gospel music, keeping all the soul but reimagining it into something more infectious. uplifting keys combine with vocals that will have you trying your best to sing-a-long, over a bass groove that holds it all together. >falling< is a slower affair, with its dream-like chords, airy synthwork, cowbell hits and seamless hats. a perfect track to start a night or to end one. the b-side completes the package with two undeniable house jams. you will soon realise how much you like >theres no love< when its skippy vocal is stuck in your head, hours after hearing it for the first time. >i can feel you< closes out the ep on a deeper note which will have you thinking of moments when the sun is about to rise, yet the night is far from over.

dj rocca kicks off his new release with a bouncy, deep and machine driven track laced with occasional synth stabs and highlighted with simple but effective percussion. next up is a wonderful track weaving in out of a harmonic house theme and a synth heavy banger. this tune will definitely drop some jaws and raise some eyebrows on the dance floor with dancers mesmerized by the lightness with which rocca switches up the game in one tune. to finish up the ep the b-side serves up a house heavy theme with a slightly distorted vocal and a more psychedelic slow jam perfect for the next late-late session.

the second offer on public possession is by artist matthew brown. we know little about this guy - he lives in tasmania in an area known as the great western tiers and is held in high regard for his live sets on the mainland. getting the final tapes of him was quite difficult but well worth the effort. he has been an integral part of the electronic underground scene in australia for years and the demand for a physical release was high. finally the wait is over, public possession is very happy to present you the first ever 12&#8243,, by matthew brown, who delivers three tracks, two of them probably best described as analogue electronic funk for dancefloors at peaktime. the ep is completed by the track borobo with its incredible slowmotion groove and balearic touch. all in all we are very happy to share this music with you, as it was a about time that the music by the man matthew brown gets its shine on a vinyl release. expect more to come in the future, this is just the beginning…

2013 repress / release number 6 from our label brings us oscar muleros latest work, proof that the new sounds hes experimenting with do not constitute at all a departure from his command of the rawest side of the purest techno. horses, oscar muleros new ep, takes us back to the mulero that the majority of the public will recognise, to the overwhelming sound that has led him straight to the top over the past two decades. the record opens with like a wolf: broken drum beats, sharp hats, fm basses and dynamic white noise drones whose energy never falters throughout the track. horses, the second track, gives the record its name and offers intricate rhythm programming, dark atmospheres and acid sounds that, as a whole, create a mental and hypnotic feeling. the closing track is in a silent way, which runs along similar lines to the previous two, but with less bpms and with an obsessive sequence that mutates and develops throughout the track leaving the listener with a mills aftertaste, but with a berliner touch.

landshapes is the sound of four people in a dingy practice room, building on accidents, listening over and reworking obsessively until every band member is satisfied. an unconventional and serendipitous a process it might be, but it is crucial to landshapes overall sound.
their debut album rambutan – the name chosen *not so much after the fruit but for the sound the word makes* and produced by ash workman is a distillation of songs old and new, re-worked and fine tuned with a deft precision.

a four-track ep, bemired and evil-eyed, but with room for arnaldo to breathe out and flex a little after his spooked, sparked contribution to blank slate 001. the opener is a dubwise bubbler, with spaced-out keys, free woodblocks, shuffling hi-hats and elastic 303 bass. atmosphere breached is more jazzy and messed-up, running funky organ through sizzling fx, syncopated handclaps and filtered groans. the flip is dancefloor-trained. our pick of the bunch, verano is in a dark, hissing, aqueous world of its own, chugging and stomping, with relentless tambourines, crunchy filtered tribal drums and detuned horns. heads down to close: lost voices and a 909 kick, chattering hi- hats and rattling percussion administer the licks.

phonograph music proudly presents their birth release *we are here* by square room heroes this is the debut release for the greek berlin- thessaloniki based duo who they have previously recorded eps with visionquest, claap music and high stings, they are back with some excellent house grooves with lots of roots of u.s house this ep features two tracks, the a-side (ny) is a solid deep house with hypnotic vocals on the background and cool pads, simple but effective. at the b-side (strictly house) it is one to drop at the right time to change the mood on the floor.

*foundation* is the new ep from especially good, the most exciting band from detroit in recent memory. the eight track ep showcases the trios dynamic energy of julio dominguezs vocals, joe flis synthesizers and drum programing and paul kirys bass - culminating in songs that are equally raw, brutal and honest. the sound of e.g. exists in a space of its own, but one can hear influences of throbbing gristle, factory records and detroit techno in the rhythms and sonic textures throughout *foundation*. recorded and mixed in detroit by sam consiglio and adam lee miller (of adult). released on est. 83 records

meditative, absorbing dance music in true moritz style — at times seemingly transfixed by its own elements, and minimal almost to vanishing-point, but quickly back ticking, kicking and amassing, with the lethal dubwise density of the classic berlin sound. twelve minutes long, trenchant and forbidding but sharply alive, the dub itself is a kind of deep fort-da gambit which scoops your brain out for a quick sluice, before replacing it slightly skewiff. dont drop your guard because of the tresor.

three previously unheard tunes elewhere... composed specially for acid night, after pzylos venue last year at the party... kaiken brings a big acidcore sound, loud and fat, 160 bpm. cyclic dica is the downtempo 134 bpm hard techno acid track. rare style and bloody effiicient & agressive, but still funky enough to groove you away! ... acid shock is more mental, 145 bpm hardcore beat (doom acid?). superb progression growing up to madness!

after cooperating with other dj s, metacid decided to go back to basics. this 6th release is a true acid experience !! on the a-side expansion just keeps on banging your head with the two 8-steps 303 basslines !!! the clap cuts right trough and the wicked synth turns your head around. this will certainly keep the dancefloor moving. there would be no metacid release without a track fully packed with acid. this track on the b-side alters different beautiful basslines and has a deeper and more progressive feel to it. saur is the last but certainly not the least track on this release. with the acoustic percussion and the strings this track tells a nice story and is perfect for the beginning of the evening.

sam walton is a 22 year old producer from manchester who came to hyperdub after feeding them demo tracks, and started off in 2011 with the *walton ep*, the first of three eps for the label. since then he has honed and developed his music into *beyond*, finding a really fresh and subtle intersection between music that doesnt seem to naturally fit together, old eski grime, funky and detroit house and techno but with smudged edges and a colourful industrial sound palette that gives a real richness to his productions.

thomas brinkmann releases the first of a series of releases on third ear. the quality and originality of these tracks reminds us just how good a producer thomas brinkmann is. techno it is, but nobody sounds like this. this, the first release is the guy martin ep, inspired by the british motorcycle racer and raconteur, guy martin. brinkmann, is himself a keen motorcycle rider and racer.

with the track *time machine*, dj and producer michael nielebock provided us with a fantastic debut on our deep circus label. his first success came for the berlin resident with the track pure visionson the treibstoff label, which entered the charts and the record cases of many international djs. his productions all are characterized by a driving groove, mixed with spherical elements, strings and synth-sounds. with *time machine* he also managed to bring this mixture to perfection in cooperation with his studio buddy leevey, thus creating a track which will make the day and caress the ears of many outdoor dancers this summer.
the second track on the ep is a wonderful remix by burak sar aka sis, who recently released his second album *confidance* on his label cocolino. the sis remix stays close to the original track, but reduces the spherical sounds and puts a greater focus on the basses, resulting in a great piece with a lot of deepness. nice!

paris based dj and producer reverend p have been on the gamm radar for quite some time. but its not until now that we managed to get his wonderful edits released through gamm.
spread out over two eps reverend p delivers soul, funk and boogie reworks that sets himself up there with all the big players on the edit scene. on part 1 we find a hot selection of marvin tunes and a soulful chi-lites track.

legowelt brings us two tracks with his trademark dancefloor drums punching through analog layers of melody and atmosphere. willie burns takes us on a hypnotic journey through the grooving crunchiness of a lost underground new york and then deep into the stars. like lovers separated by prison glass, these tracks come from very different places but they all serenade you to the dancefloor and take you into a maze of hazy visions.

part 2 concludes killawatts largest body of music to date, the opposing rhetoric ep, a 6 track opus of truly progressive uk underground sound that melds his influences from dubstep and techno with expansive, high-tension sound design. the eps second triplet of beats feature his most overtly techno-focussed sounds yet, expanding his horizons and dropping the pace down to 125bpm, and delivers punishing dancefloor rigidity and bass-immersed sonic force. on black air, killawatt threads tightly coiled syncopations above a grinding 4×4 structure, and delivers a near-cacophonic but ultimately heavy full-sensory overload. the flipside is divided between the churning swell of dark industrial aesthetics on art of discourse, and the moody permutations of reactive technique, where rippling melodic shimmers provide accentuation to its pounding sub-density.

for the fifth release on roots for bloom, michael james delivers 3 bumping cuts of very much dance floor orientated music. the opener infinite state gets you moving straight from the off with some edgy stabs and serious groove. high roller carries on where the a1 lets off upping the tempo but maintaining the direction. the b side freeze is a more techno influenced track, but still hold that underlying groove.

in 2011, we begin to think about doing a record label. we had been following somaticae for some time and at this moment he was playing some art & punk gigs with a furious live of electronic improv, on the edge between hypnosis and noise. two of these sessions became our second release, *dressed like a bubblegum*, raising the interest of people like surgeon, perc, and peter van hoesen , his remix for mondkopfs *ease your pain* receiving praise from ancient methods as well as labels downwards and avian. but somaticae had already moved forward, and in a matter of a few weeks, he was sending us what quickly and easily took shape as *catharsis*, a ten track piece which is to be the first album release on in paradisum.

the case (nabis) ep is the debut effort from brooklyn-based hound scales, releasing on his own fifth wall imprint, which he runs with fellow brooklynite divvorce. the two originals and two remixes are driving but subtle and textured techno. remixes come courtesey of icee hot co-founder ghosts on tape and swiss producer isolated lines. support from george fitzgerald, locked groove, sei a, goldffinch, tiga, sinden, xhin, troy pierce, moerbeck, totally enormous extinct dinosaurs, breach, randomer, hackman, and more. the title track case (nabis) was featured in george fitzgeralds essential mix for bbc radio 1. coverage by xlr8r, resident advisor, mixmag, earmilk, hyponik, and more.

very little to go on here, but the music will surely do the talking! the volcano brothers are a mysterious group who have put together these two african edits that have been featured on the beats in space radio show and in the record box of tim sweeney.

canadian producer kevin mcphee made his idle hands debut back in 2011 with sleep and house 44 over a year on, he returns to the label with two floor friendly, house leaning cuts. a-side unwind takes the bumping bottom end and swung drums of early sneak and pairs it with punchy horn stabs and an infectious vocal hook. b-side, a jam, is slightly more subdued but equally as jacking with mcphees trademark loose percussion providing the foundation for lush uk house pads and a heavyweight bassline.

an entirely new label with fresh artists from any direction. both tracks compiled on this release are deep and spheric in their mood, similar in style, but rather different and special in their shapes of individuality. the a-side delivers a slightly straight and powerful track from alma. carried by soft moog-basses and playful spheric breaks in addition to an authentic summer groove it is definitely suitable to create open-air feeling - a glistening interpretation of a green morning. gebby dibson contributed an emotional and slow house production to the b-side of this release. in so doing, they patterned pretty versatile varieties of electronic styles. in this case its hard to classify, but joyful to listen to… just beautiful.
