we are proud to unveil the seventh release on telefonplan, osirus ep from anders hellberg, a berlin based producer and dj from south sweden. with osirus ep, it is immediately clear that anders is a fan and follower of the old school techno with elements of detroit techno and acid. four righteous slabs of hardware goodness is on the menu this time, all served tight and driving. from the opening track *beyond the stratosphere* with its pulsating rhythm and hypnotizing chords to *gondor*, a heavier, darker and dubbier acid anders showcases his uniquely modern flavour of techno. on the flip, *osirus* is a floor burning chord jam and *respond* finishes things perfect with hypnotic melody.

after 10 years of existence in berlins ambitious music scene, golden gate club has achieved cult status in his own right through out the world. it is a very special place with its own living soul. yet a small venue it shows a high profile, distinct character and a very original and authentic spirit. to manifest this state, the golden gate club establishes ist own record label >ggcr<. the opening release carries the characteristic name >golden era< by swedish dj and producer anders hellberg. still a new member of the underground, his style strikingly represents what golden gate stands for. namely an impassioned, intense and organic sound with high recognition value. four tracks with the same ingredients but different prescriptions. an analog production through and through, with 303 based rhythms and blazing 80s pads. very intense and haunting but still guarding a sweet and hypnotic atmosphere.

bristol based borai kicks off volume 4 with thinking of you, a clean, classic take on house music. strongly recognized for his productions on labels like chicago s tasteful nudes, retrofit and needwant, borai s contribution to volume 4 continues his ode to classic deep house with upbeat drums and straightforward melodies that nod to the new york & new jersey anthems of yore.

the first supply showcase: four label-newcomers range with veteran authority from deep house to driving techno. the opener is a grooving house burner: an infectious loop and low-slung drums build triumphantly. anders hellberg drops in some acid, with a strident 909 beat stalking an open, melodic soundscape. kicking off the flip, label co-owner jb teams up with bostonian paul morse in an icy, tantalizing variation of elastic, swinging deep-house, before stojches outward opens up an ending, its pounding beat laced with bitter-sweet detroit strings.

luca lozano presents klsunderground001 is klasse recordings first foray into the various artists compilation field, a small but perfectly formed ep consisting of five tracks from various family members and extended homeboys. the idea behind the series is to take the focus back to the music, the ep aims to concentrate on tracks that are made with passion, pride and belief. music that will stand the test of time against the torrent of seemingly endless throwaway material that floods our inbox day by day. the tracks on the ep speak for themselves, so i will do away with the usual wacky metaphors and just urge you to give them a listen. thanks goes to mr. ho, red axes, viadrina, jordan peak and anders hellberg for providing the music and a special thanks goes to the latter three for joining the klasse family and being part of our new series. enjoy the music and thanks for listening. - luca lozano
