kontakt brings back two sought after minimal-dubtechno tracks by metric system, which was one of many aliases used by thomas p.heckmann in the 90ties, where he explored the sounds of the legendary sequential circuits 440. the original recordings have been carefully restored and officially re-mastered by thomas himself. limited coloured vinyl.

ambient-acid influenced techno

alex metric & ten vens transmission 1 is their first release on diynamic, although their productions are not unheard of in the labels orbit as solomun has been supporting them heavily in his sets throughout recent months. opening track the q, much like the closing track plates, are reminiscent of old uk garage raves with a hint of acid. minuscule shifts in the pitch give that certain cassette-nostalgia, transporting the listener back to the early 90s. the centre piece titled nebula is a driving melodic deep house tune with a hefty break that brings things to a halt right at its centre, only to return with the catchy riff that is its main feature.

roger gerressen about his project >lunar phases< : -when thinking about the lights of the night the first thing that came to my mind was the moon. you look at it daily and we are all affected by it so much. since the project contains eight tracks and the moon travels through eight phases every month it seemed like an obvious choice to choose this subject for the lp. the first part of the lp is the >new moon<, when the people (and the music) are mellow and relaxed. the second part of the lp is darker, faster and more chaotic, which is more likely to be the effect a >full moon< has on people.-
