zona del silencio or the zone of silence is an area deep in the mexican desert. it is the home of several rare, mutant species of animals (including the purple cactus and a malformed version of the desert tortoise). the area�s name derives from an odd anomaly that prohibits radio waves from transmitting inside the zone. when asked about the strange phenomena, the locals invariably reply that they do not see strange things in the desert, only strange people. play this record three times and the idwt gang will appear in your mirror and smoke you out.

dsordne (pronounced disordine) is a project from torino, italy that evolved as group out of the electronic experimental post punk project novostj in 1987. at the core of dsordne is marco milanesio, musical engineer and co-founder of the hax record label, joined by a revolving cast of musicians. their spectrum ranged from experimental to structured electro-poetry and soundtrack like instrumental electronic music. in 1987 they released their first track on a split-single with the legendary pink dots. between 1987 and 1994 they released 6 full length albums, 3 split-eps and appeared on various cassette compilations.

one per customer! after two outstanding tracks on paerels, upsammy is back with a solo ep full of window shattering sci-fi electronica. zona and a window form the dreamy framework of the ep. in between these melancholic songs a rougher club-oriented side is shown. bright beats, sizzling rides and crips melodies, all designed to take you to another place.

eight years after moon in libra (sccd/lp 407), the new s-tone inc.s onda consolidates the partnership between stefano tirone and his longtime friend and collaborator tomaz di cunto aka toco, who co-wrote 8 of the 10 album tracks. a strongly heartfelt black rio-inspired effort, ranging from groovy brazilian soul-funk to mellow soulful chill moments, featuring historical (laura fedele, manuela ravaglioli) and new (barro, qinho, the 4maré quartet) contributes on vocals, for a very personal and original result.

milan based collective just this return with two va releases to continue their broken promises series. with the aim of documenting the progression of cultural movements, the label have pursued underground material since 2010. broken promises part 3 and part 4 are due for release on 1st december and 8th december respectively, and each feature four new tracks channelling refined techno with minimalist, ambient sentiments. hunter/game open part 3 with distance, a meditative journey through ambient textures using expansive synths and vast acoustics. next, architectural brandishes 808 drums for a tense workout on electric soul. on the b-side, label co-owner pisetzky explores the darker side of minimal on anterial, whilst altman plays with moody bass and ricocheting percussion on shapes. part 4 opens with a shuffling rhythmic framework on inlands aechmea, followed by zona, a pointillist groove by ben gibson, aka one half of the collaborative project dyad. on my flowers kundal, a cyclical melody wanders through eerie acoustics whilst hiver navigates a broken beat framework with glitchy distortions and dub echoes on stellar parallax landing

�superbacana� marks the return of s-tone inc., an ep that anticipates a new album due to release in autumn 2017. produced by stefano tirone, who co-wrote all the tracks with tomaz di cunto - alias toco - it contains four tracks (one in two different versions) with a funky brazilian flavour, inspired by the black rio sound that represents the encounter between samba and the american soul funk music since the �70s. an outstanding groovy effort that raises the expectations on what s-tone inc. will produce in the nearby future...

for his first outing on naar, eric duncan presents us with shut it, a full bore techno-disco work out, complimented by an altogether more cosmic yet tribal remix from living legend daniel baldelli, alongside production partner marco dionig. on the b side you will find zona de perigo, which is a compelling mongrel affair showcasing a drug chug rhythm with a new age feel, and melodies that border on the anatolian, before breaking in to a satisfyingly arpeggiated conclusion.

title track mira will be sure to make dancefloors move effortlessly with its euphoric, house-inspired synth stabs and throbbing bass progressions. last years impressive debut is set to be eclipsed by the forthcoming mira ep and welterweight is one reason why. boldly contagious,welterweights undeniable bounce is brought to life via sinister bass and humanized by the yearning vocals of baio, before the chorus makes for an all round hands in the air moment as an array of blissful synths and warped melodies take over.

domenico writes and co-writes all the songs, sings, plays guitar and designs the rhythmically adventurous soundscapes heard on cine prive. with the help of old (pedro sa, alberto continentino, moreno veloso, kassin, and adriana calcanhotto) and newer (money mark, darin gray & glenn kotche of duo on fillmore) friends and musical collaborators the songs were recorded live in the studio with most tracks calling on no more than three musicians at a time.
