• our next release sees the welcome return of dez williams. since his first ep on the label in 2013, a lot has happened for the welsh wizard. releases for shipwrec, bedouin, new flesh and bass agenda have followed, while his reputation as a killer live act has continued to grow. opening with lumphammer, dez harks back to a time when big, brooding basslines were king. add in whistling keys, tribal percussion and a few well-timed breakdowns, and you have what is surely one of his biggest tracks to date. order to fight takes a more aggressive route - a vocal-fused slab of raw acid, it leads nicely onto the flip, where kabin feeva s wild roaring synths are tuned specifically for the headstrong. work like crazy meanwhile, sees dez return to his roots with a bass heavy cut of crunched electro, doused in a dark filtered vox.

(180 gram vinyl lp) far out recordings proudly presents the 1975 self-titled debut album from brazilian vocalist and bossa nova luminary emilio santiago. one of his best know is album opener bananeira, a party-starting version of the song originally written by joao donato and gilberto gil. brother is a smooth-grooving killer with great horn arrangements and a huge backing choir, while la mulata is a soulful, swinging salsa stepper.

for its tenth anniversary, killekill decided it is worth to resurrect the main label and bring it back in full effect with another compilation of tracks by our beloved family members, favorite artists and bestest friends. cat. number 020 was never released, and we thought, this celebratory occasion was perfect to fill that gap, so everything is cleared, and we can step into the next decade. we start off with a track by mmm, the legendary duo consisting of fiedel and errorsmith, known for pushing the boundaries with every of their very rare releases. this one is an extremely simple, but effective weapon to destroy all dancefloors with its slightly loutish appeal. neil landstrumm got together with brian rays and produced a bleeper hit with catchy vocals. we don t know who the lyrics refer to, but they definitely express a punky fuck-off attitude, which we are missing a lot nowadays.

célia regina cruz recorded four self-titled albums for continental between 1971 and 1977, ‘amor’ in 1982 plus several more before she sadly passed away late in 2017. célia was a brazilian vocalist who worked frequently with master arranger-composer arthur verocai in her early years and many other heavyweights over the course of her extensive career.. this, her second self-titled lp from 1972, features an all-star line up including arthur verocai, erasmo carlos, roberto carlos, marcos valle, antonio carlos jobim, nonato buzar and vinicius de moraes amongst others. célia’s version of ‘na boca do sol’ – taken from this album – is arguably her most well-known and well-loved song. an incredible take on verocai’s original, featuring waling fuzz guitars, strings, piano, horns and drums.

this is the 5th release on riot radio records, an independent techno label based in scotland. here are 12 artists (the horrorist, paul birken, neil landstrumm, cannibal cooking club, nomad, durkit, dez williams, martyn hare, cymbol, binny, morphamish and lado) each with a wicked track for the first of many sampler lp’s on riot. it’s named a sampler because it is just that, a sample of the various artists and forms of techno that can be heard on our fortnightly riot radio show and also of what’s to come on the label from each of the artists featuring on the lp. that’s because each artist appearing on this lp will be delivering you their own individual release on the label, with each one featuring brand new original tracks and additional solid remixes by various exceptionally talented artists.

2017 repress , just in time for summer, andrés aka dj dez hits back with three perfect house cuts. the andrés formula is fairly simple, grab a sample, flip it, add warm basslines and drums. thing is, nobody does it quite like dez. the title track here is a soulful rave-up spinning on an indelible vocal chop and vamping pianos. -chevy status- is true to its name, a chugging mid-tempo hip-hop/house tune perfect for rolling down woodward avenue, or if you like, a street in your town. -pluck away,- meanwhile, takes some jangling, tropicalia guitars and lets them ride into the sunset, closing out a near perfect record which only builds anticipation for the detroit man s fourth full-length, andres iv.

killekill megahits ii is a jubilee release. but it’s not only that. it’s also milestone and turning point in the killekill history, because with this release killekill closes one chapter, and opens up another. we will start several new labels over the next months, so this is a hello and a goodbye release – looking back and forward at the same time. the full compilation got a lot of coverage and the tour was very successful, and so we will release the records as single releases as well. part 1 features some of the future key artists and crosses over from electro to acid and back.
