youandme is back on rotary cocktail recordings and presents a tribute to the deep and raw jacking vibes of early chicago house. two great remixes by shinedoe and timo maas round up the package. the a cappella is vinyl exclusive.

imyrmind debuts on tartelet with a four-tracker ranging from banging mpc techno to contagious latin house and laidback jazzy wonk. after finishing a degree in architecture and relocating to berlin earlier this year, imyrmind stepped up his game with the release of his solo debut on astro & graef s money $ex imprint. this november will see the release of the beatsmiths second solo venture on tartelet records. the opening track tong po is imyrmind s take on techno, inspired by the villain from jean claude van damme s 1989 cult classic kickboxer. a heavy pitched kick drum, fuzzy melodies with generous use of tape delay and a badass bass line dropping around the three-minute mark makes this a peak time candidate. wanja 9000 slows down the pace. dusty jazz samples and wonky beats with sloppy turntable cuts add a nice live feel to the track. on the b-side upturn sets the mood with classic salsa percussion infused with an epic brass and piano hook that could very well stem from the infamous palmieri brothers or one of their contemporaries. embrace your inner latino and follow your hips. the last track of the record number seven completes the circle with venturous drum programming, layered melodies and plenty of early morning ambiance. imyrmind is scheduled for a three week australia, nz and asia tour in november alongside long-time collaborator glenn astro.

this release is a collection of big names of the electronic music history, some of them are legends: pete tong & john monkman lead the list of big artists in this ep, they had produced the bumps a few months ago and now we can see the remixes of that track.
for the remix duties, suara is proud to have on board one of the biggest names of electronic music movement with more than 20 million albums sold, 8 songs in the uk singles chart, masterpieces like play or 18. the name of the remixer is moby, whom did a delicate and sophisticated deep house track for his debut on suara.
coyu is in the package too with a dancefloor, melodic, powerful interpretation of the original and julien jeweil did a really cool revision of the track in a techno way.

the talended italian based artist -sonartek- dropped 3 dope minimal orginals on the 7th rqm releaseto show why his music are unique. a deep trip into dark frequencies and mental groove tunes of high quality sounds. once again for the remix rqm hires the cooperation of francesco passantino & gabriele carasco for a massive deep break beat remix. no more to say just listen and enjoy.

deep dub techno music - mastered by salz music. with >the tube< the seventh release of the label tiefenrausch awakes – this time out of the hands of biodub. as a reminiscence to the early times of dub, the record comes as 7inch vinyl. in a classical but innovative manner biodub creates a tune between relaxed as well as driving beats and an irresistible deepness. the record presents one track in two different versions. while “the tube” solely bets on the instrumental deepness, “until forever” comes with the voice of ray darwin and disperses a pinch of reggae into the track. the vinyl is decorated with the artwork of alexander ketzer. he created the perfect cover referring to jules verne. 20.000 leagues under the sea – exactly the right slogan for tiefenrausch 007.

therefore their latest release on kittball is one that will fall on thousands of eager ears, particularly as each track is produced in collaboration with three of the label s favourite artists. in the shadows is the first on the release, a track created alongside ante perry that contains a murky bassline, funky guitar plucking, and fluttering vocals - a peak time party number. in reliquia the duo team up with paji for a gloomy production comprising sweeping synths, melodic keys, and a distorted spoken sample. it is a deep and atmospheric affair that will make for some spine-tingling moments on any dancefloor. tying up the release is a collaboration with in.deed titled highness , a poignant cut complete with sultry synths, elegant chords, and rich low-ends, until subtle keys trail off concluding a fresh and innovative release.

the original, with a well-constructed bassline incorporates a warm up melody that begins to set the tone for the night ahead. each layer is distinct as the track begins to build itself right to its crescendo when each of those individual layers collectively come together. you can distinctly hear the 80 s like synths that are cleverly inserted into the track which are highlighted by the female vocal samples. the grittier elements add a touch of darkness and instantly transport you to a warehouse club with an intimate atmosphere. the remix, done by the widely loved tech-house duo pleasurekraft jack up the tempo a notch, and add a bouncy groove to the track. where the original brought out a darker side, the remix is more upbeat and settles in well for a peak hour set. bringing that crisp bassline to the fore, and tuning out the melodies to make them a tad subtler it showcases a more tech-house version of the original. there s an added element a slightly more haunted vibe which is coupled together with those gritty and harder elements. all i can conclude is what a tech-house bomb this is from the highly talented pleasurekraft. they always manage to bring something new and unique to every single track they ve ever remixed which truly shows their remarkability as consistently good producers.

tube10 returns to the scene again with a release to blow your minds away. this time its the greek formation ekelon. their debut on planet mu with headhunter on mary anne hobbs evangeline had us in our grasp so much that we couldnt help ourselves then to hit them up and see what whould happen. tube10 005 is the result of this encounter and it shows ekelon flexing their crossover sound like no other. is it techno? is it dubstep? we dont know but we sure as hell love both tunes to bits!
