in 1997 the vienna, austria based live act syncmode was founded and formed by bernd rausch & sascha sadat guscheh. their first 2 eps were self released between 2001–2003 and continue to play an important role in their reclusive production ethic. they continue collaborations with a close knit operation between 24seven and breakin stevens, which has directly triggered them to surpass the common duo and develop into a collective of changing members, which include the latest fixed members christof winkler and sonny blake. this ep is stripped down to a mix of live synthesis and heady synth-sync and machine drum trickery as it touches on past and future electronic music production techniques and solidifies these four tracks on a solid 12&#8243, vinyl. very rare and limited! due-out-in-summer-2015!

dj and producer born in tunisia and now based in boras, sweden. he s released on a handful of labels including nice & nasty, quadrant, soul people, selekta, next dimension and division x. his last release on minimalsoul entitled echoes of a revolution went on to get a great review in de:bug magazine and sparked his return to minimalsoul. mourad now deliveres (5) astonishing mediterranean flavored tracks to minimalsoul. all tracks have their own flavor and can stand on their own in a listening or dance environment. we d like to point out the undeniable innovative track produced alongside aaron-carl ragland, better known simply as aaron-carl, who was the founder of the detroit-based wallshaker music & w.a.r.m.t.h. international inc.. tacotac ep is fueled with a great sense of emotion and feeling and will be an outstanding gem to any record collection. in memory of aaron-carl ragland (august 19, 1973 n september 30, 2010) your music will always be with us!

to those of you who know your techno, shawn rudiman should be a well-known name. a prolific producer, he has nevertheless always kept his quality control on a tight leash, and releases on 7th city, technoir audio, integrated, dust science & matrix (amongst others) have brought him a reputation of being one of the finest producers around of contemporary detroit style (aka melodic) techno. a nice taster on the last minimalsoul release (sashimi hi) has hence led on to a full ep, and its classic stuff...tough beats and esoteric but catchy melodies all tied up with an expansive production ethic make for a great listen, and (perhaps unusually with this style of music) for a great dancefloor experience too!
