god bless you, lovers of analog basslines, jackin techno, mascarpone and chianti: discodeine are back. after 3 acclaimed eps, numerous remix proposals turned down, a few months spent on a butch basement working on their album, pilooski and pentile delivers a perfect summer anthem called singular, featuring the infamous matias aguayo on vocals. its a fine line (aka ivan smagghe and tim paris) provides one of their fantastic train fantome remixes while institube wonderkid das glow turns the track into an underage drive by shooting at eurodisney. pilooski provides the cherry on top with an exoticore-tropical edit of falkenberg (another gem from the forthcoming album) that will please you, steel drums massives. you have guessed, this new discodeine ep is a perfect vamos a la playa release. please note that the das glow remix will be an itunes exclusive. the self-titled discodeine album will be released later this year, stay tuned.
