anders trentem¿llers career is a travel-heavy one, with his touring schedule taking him pretty much all over the world. but its his home port thats inspired his latest project, the sprawling, stunning compilation mix Ôharbour boat trips vol. 02: copenhagen. clocking in at just over an hour long, the compilation sees trentem¿ller curate and craft sixteen songs into a heavy, hazy mix that ranges from shoegaze to electronica, featuring both familiar and celebrated artists like a place to bury strangers (with a new trentem¿ller remix) and slowdive to more obscure finds, as well as trentem¿llers own tracks and remixes, most notably a brand new trentem¿ller cover of neil youngs classic Ôtransformer man. the mix sees him pick up a thread he left off earlier in his career. in 2009 he put together Ôharbour boat trips - 01: copenhagen, a compilation mix comprised of his favourite music, both danish and international, from across four decades, loosely inspired by the motion and movement of copenhagens busy harbour. closing in on a decade later, were getting the second edition, with Ôharbour boat trips - 02 arriving this november.

hot off the heels of the beautiful obsolete machines lp released this month, radiuss cassette demo restoration project returns to form with the interpolation tapes series. the original source tapes had aged, warped and degraded and as a result we ve preserved the best segments, sampled and reprocessed with a vintage prophet 2000 sampler, studio 440 and various linn samplers to add depth and range to the original source material. we ve spent nearly an entire year restoring and interpolating over 100 hours of music, processing sound and redesigning the blueprints of this long forgotten project. every track was originally recorded down to an old tascam 688, an 8 track cassette recorder purchased and abused since 1992 and to our ears still sounds quite impressive even by modern standards. we ve had nearly every component replaced and re-calibrated to bring this obsolete machine back to life. it s been a truly nostalgic experience re-visiting and re-arranging these masters, regardless of the time passed, there s so much depth in sound design, raw emotions and when considering the limitations of hardware in the era these were recorded, they ve truly aged like a fine wine. we hope you enjoy this magical time in music, as we are very inspired by all that was happening in those years, theres undeniably something in the air, a mystifying energy, long may it live on.

an unreleased classic from the vaults emerges with beautiful reshapes by cv313 (recorded and reshaped from 2007-2016) this is where the sound of cv313 was realized, culled from cassette tapes recorded live (1995-2000) with nothing but analog/digital hardware, no computer in sight (excluding our commodore 64 midi sequencer, which is still alive and well today). the radius project has been absent since the final release in 2001, the first 12- appearing in 1996 (limited white label run of 100 copies pressed at acme pressing in canada) after revisiting these works we realized there was truly some magic here. this project was initially sent to rod modell & mike schommer shortly after they launched their brilliant deepchord label in 2001. they were incredibly kind in saying it was the best demo they had ever heard and passed it on to octal records for release, sadly, that didn t materialize and since then these masters have been collecting dust in our cassette rack for nearly 20 years now. we ve spent months doing our best to restore the old tapes from our tascam 688, an 8 track cassette recorder purchased and abused since 1992 and to our ears still sounds quite impressive even by modern standards. (that is of course, if you can get past the tape hiss) we ve had nearly every component replaced and re-calibrated to bring this obsolete machine back to life, it s been a truly nostalgic experience re-visiting these masters.

sein deb�talbum -raop- hielt sich f�nf wochen lang auf platz 1 der deutschen media control album charts, hat doppel-platin-status erreicht und mittlerweile �ber 500.000 einheiten verkauft. neben einem bambi, zwei echos, und der 1live krone, wurde cro auch noch bei den internationalen world music awards in den kategorien -world s best male artist-, -world s best single- und -world s best music video- nominiert. mit -easy-, -hi kids-, -du-, -king of raop- und - meine zeit- befanden sich alle f�nf seiner bis dahin ver�ffentlichten singles gleichzeitig in den top 100 der itunes-single-charts. das album und die singles wurden in deutschland bis heute sagenhafte 2.5 millionen mal verkauft. alle bisherigen singles von cro haben inzwischen platin-staus erreicht. die erwartungshaltung k�nnte also kaum gr�§er sein. aber anstatt sich verr�ckt zu machen, hat cro erstmal -sunny- aufgenommen und das komplette album zum free download ins netz gestellt. danach hat er in venedig und zuhause in seinem keller an dem n�chsten gro§en ding gearbeitet. mit der ersten single -traum-, die am 04.04.2014 airplay-day hatte und bereits jetzt - nur 3 wochen sp�ter - in den airplaycharts auf platz #1 gelandet ist, bewei§t cro, dass er immer noch hungrig ist und es nicht verlernt hat hits zu schreiben. eigentlich sollte -traum- am 30.05. erscheinen - doch wegen der gro§en nachfrage und den unglaublichen airplaycharts - f�r einen deutschen k�nstler ein novum - wird die single jetzt vorgezogen und erscheint bereits am 09.05.2014.
