ontal series is back with it’s second (ontal #2) output which includes a collaboration between dronelock and ontal called “svest” accompanied by a powerful tribal remix from the main man behind mord records - mr. bas mooy. the flipside starts with an industrial ebm track called “mehanizam” and ends with “lesion”, an acid techno/noise mutation that ontal performed in their live sets for the past few years.

for its premier release, division point industries is proud to announce a 4-track ep by rolling ones, a collaborative project featuring johannes auvinen (tin man) and jordan poling (jordan). rolling ones finds its voice in the synthesis of each artist s sound, combining tin man s acidic melodies with jordan s deep, textural pads. debuting at the division point industries residency at bushwick s notorious bossa nova civic club, rolling ones marked their arrival by playing a dj back-to-back set. opening the record is 93 mustang , a muscular, no-nonsense roller built around deep wells of warm bass and slick-piston percussion. as it builds, tin man s signature acidic squelch dances in the remaining space, giving the track a sense of both life and depth. next is faded delorian , an abyssal burner that refracts its ghostly tones around a panning labyrinth of crystalline synths. on the flip is slammed cadillac , a sinewy, stripped down stomper of clattering percussion and caustic 303s. jacked up impala finishes the record as a jacking acid tool. founded by jordan poling, division point industries is a new label built on the success of a collaborative residency with cory james at brooklyn s bossa nova civic club. having hosted artists ranging from the established to the underground, division point industries has crafted a no-nonsense take on deep house and techno that is rich in history while remaining focused on the future.

karim sahraoui has been producing gems for many years under various names such as djinxx, soul monkey and electronique resistance. after a break 2014 saw his return to the business under his real name and producing music that is closer to him than ever. releases included the future classic eternal life ep pt 1 on derrick mays transmat and appearances on labels such as cocoon. the a-side features the epic 10-minute original version of horns of glory on which karim takes his time to unfold the story of the track: a journey filled with beautiful melodies and rhythms that paint a lush landscape of sound. side b features the earth from above which again has a fairy-tale feeling to it. the b2 is vince watsons pumping and powerful remix of horns of glory which gives the track an energetic hypnotic quality and rounds off the package well.

nothing further can be asked of an artist by a record label than what philou louzolo has delivered to tink! music in the past year. after zolo grooves sold out with four classic status cuts, the african descendent based in rotterdam has seemed to achieve the impossible and topped his incredible ep from 2015 with a second attack, four more tracks that are pure party fire!

soooo here we are with the tenth and final release, thought it would be nice to finish on a nice zen like number, so this is a extra special release kind of a mini lp almost -opened up by fx mchn flush the trush is an intro to the comp and a reverse funk skittish affair next up is new man on the block for us here we been sitting on a collection of his tracks but felt this one complemented this ep the most, ecco foul, gloss is a sleazy machine groove that does t do much but thats just the way we like it .then comes mr facade with his jerky funk sweet surprises and warm melodies. the b side is opened by another newcomer from running back record hugh mane new age dawns whose track come s deep and wide open has to be heard on the headphones as well as the club jamie blanco s chord arrangments get opened up and spaced out by lht office boy toby tobias in a detroitesque ditty thats been used to open a few sets in 2015 already and finally alphonse delivers an out and out machine jam with the usual dub influence brought in vocal fashion.

re-issue of a ltd aussie techno/house 12- from 1997. in 1997 tim jackiw emerged on the scene with his very first release on the short-lived aussie imprint, offworld records. the release was limited to 500 copies and went virtually unnoticed. a few music journalists at the time of the release dubbed it as one of the greatest electronic records to come out of australia. the a-side begins with a long deep technosoul journey. the b-side continues with more recombinant classic detroit and chicago sounds of the golden era. recondite is proud to re-issue this long lost introduction to tims music with new sounds to come in the near future!
